  1. Sure, if you like unreliable POSs.
  2. Well then, it’s a little presumptuous to assume that the name is what brought the sales. If it’s a solid ride and looks good (inside and out), then naming them after a legendary nameplate like the Mustang is irrelevant. Ask Porsche about the Cayenne, as an example.
  3. But would those Mach-E sales be any different if it were called something else?
  4. Until we see an actual EV Vette, we won’t know for sure. In its current state though, it’s not possible.
  5. Exactly and they had no problem moving them despite not carrying over that “branding”. Then that makes a Vette SUV an even more ridiculous idea since it is not mid-engine and that most certainly will not carry over to any SUV or CUV.
  6. While I agree with the rest (and that is what I getting at), just a hard no on doing that to the Vette name.
  7. Never said there was but it is the opposite of the reality right now. Again, when they go all EV, it may be a different story but it’s not going to happen with an ICE under the hood, no matter how much pipe dreaming that takes place.
  8. Why? Everything is going EV with them anyway so there is little to no chance of a performance ICE based SUV/CUV. Maybe they go that route once the EV transition is complete but people wishing for it right now are just pipe dreaming IMO.
  9. Doesn’t seem like you know either. I cannot think of a more contradictory term.
  10. This should answer it. https://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/history/emblem.html
  11. No No No No It's not a solo affair but the chevy logo is inside the Vette emblem. Do you just enjoy being wrong? The Bolt starts in the 30s.
  12. Much better options out there for less coin and with better performance where it’s needed (like the highway). $50K for a overdressed RAV4 with a CVT is just obscene.

Probably because there were only 800 of them made lol. Not exactly a large sample pool to go with there.

Hold up now. I’m feeling personally attacked here.

Beyond pricey but damn! I'd still have it if the money was there. Another $10K system in a $1k car lol.

The last part was a bit “trollish” lol.

From what I can tell, neither does Burmester. Both make sweet systems but I’d still take a top notch McIntosh over an equal Burmester, and I have heard both (home systems) but my sound budget does not line up with my real budget lol. Again, dreaming. Agreed on Bose though. Middle of the road stereos and speakers at best.

While I am not sold on the Grand Wagoneer's exterior, the interior is sharp as hell but what really catches my eyes, are the stereo and the maker. Salivating here, is not an option for me. That is my dream build home stereo system maker. Ironically, the system I want from them (The Reference Music System below) probably costs more than a loaded GW. A man can dream though. A man can dream.

To be fair though, most of those stickers were on cars owned by men who had no room to talk, at all, about being fat.
  20. I’m just going to have to disagree with you on that one. There is zero reason to drag race down a public road other than stroke your ego and be an idiot.
  21. Doesn’t mean that public roads are where someone should act like a complete moron.
  22. BS on the timing of this. Street racing long predates the defund movement and has been getting worse for years. Of course, given the source of the article (Fox News), I am not surprised that they are trying to make this seem like a new thing to promote their own BS agenda.

A nice writeup on the new CT5-V Blackwing. I still prefer the profile of the previous gen CTS but the bones and powertrain on this thing cannot be denied AND it comes standard with a manual and is the lightest to boot!. None of the German competition can currently make that claim. https://autos.yahoo.com/2022-cadillac-ct5-v-blackwing-130000292.html
  24. And I'm sure all ten of them will very happy. I still maintain that the Cybertruck was never meant to be a $40K "pickup". It is a huge paid advertising gimmick from a company that does not use traditional advertising avenues. Just my opinion.
  25. Interestingly enough, the Chevrolet deanship near my work has a reasonable amount of inventory (although it's not a very large dealership). What's really odd is that they've had the same four C8 Vettes there for the last three weeks. Strange times.
