  1. That kind of thing makes this guy super happy: http://green.autoblog.com/2012/12/29/fisker-sues-insurance-company-over-karmas-damaged-in-hurricane-s/#aolc=BScwfA HUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUE
  2. If it's on consignment, I'd wait until it hits around 2K'ish. Perusing your local Craigslist, I'm turning up newer bikes for only slightly higher prices. Like these two: http://greenville.craigslist.org/mcd/3512553941.html http://greenville.craigslist.org/mcd/3518708544.html I'm not sure if you're partial to a cruiser but both are within spitting distance of the in terms of price. Unless you're looking for a 'standard,' which is the type of bike the CB 750 is, I'd recommend an import cruiser as their motors are bulletproof, and they have a large aftermarket. They do weigh a little more but the lower centre of gravity makes it less of an issue.
  3. Nobody's going to buy the car, just like nobody bought the G8 so they may as well try and have mass-appeal by not including a transmission that only 0.33333% of the population care to use.
  4. I'd spend a little more and reach for the 750. They're a very flexible bike so should you decide to do a little touring or longer-distance riding, you'll have the comfort and power, as well as a large aftermarket to support you. Additionally, it could end up being an investment. Already, many of them are being chopped up or 'cafe'd.' There are guys who rode them in the Seventies and are feeling nostalgic that are snapping up good examples like the one in the ad, as well as hipster 20-something's with money that like all things ancient. I'd wager if you were to sell it down the line, you'd get the same amount or even more, providing you keep it in fair condition. The 750's are also quite forgiving in terms of handling and power. They are a little hefty at just under 500lbs, but the seating position means the weight doesn't impact the ride terribly. Also, the engine is a breeze to work on. Everything about the powertrain is simple and sensible.
  5. Be given a communications position in a police station and using the Twitter feed to bitch with other people about how bad Windows 8 is.

Make yourself a Twitter account, or perhaps ask the manager of C&G's account to do it on your behalf, and shoot a tweet to @RamTrucks and @Chrysler. Make a shortened link to this thread and quickly tell them the issue. I've found that you can get surprisingly quick CS this way. It's worth a shot.
  7. I think it looks pretty good. The current model was quite plain and required fake hood-scoops to look remotely sporty (G8).
  8. Your SUV that was built by a government-propped up domestic automaker?
  9. Because eliminating an entire brand that actually has a degree of cachet is a good business decision... Chrysler's not going anywhere. And before anyone mentions Pontiac, remember that Pontiac was bad.
  10. I need some help. Which service do people here prefer? I've been picked up as a Communications/Social Media 'guru' for a community policing precinct and need to figure out what tools I'll need. Anyone able to lend their opinion?

Myfacewhen I'm scheming how I can sneak this baby out of the building.
  12. The mobile version appears to have an error: It mentions something about the chat function. Chrome Mobile/Android 4.1
  13. There's also the excitement of the wheels potentially not deploying during landing thanks to lousy electronics!
  14. Nice car! That vintage of Mazda3 remains my favourite compact car of all time. This forum has held solid against the changing tides of the internet and will continue to do so. Hi.
  15. A good chunk of the community is already gone. I see familiar names on automotive websites that used to post here frequently. This sort of initiative will not only help get new people in, but maybe some of the old ones too.
  16. The problem here is that truck owners are already a closed-minded bunch. Brand loyalty is huge and it'll be hard to dissuade them from sticking with a tried-and-true diesel or gas V8 drivetrain, as evidenced by the low adoption of GM's hybrid system. Factor in reliability concerns that truck owners will undoubtedly have about plug-in's and it pretty much equals a 'no sale.' If GM put a Volt-Tec drivetrain into a truck, I'd doubt it'd have gotten the traction the Volt has. Methinks Maximum Lutz is trying to minimize the Volt for his own gain.

I'm still not really sure why I look so unimpressed.

Both. You buy a Buick Verano. Next question.

I don't think 'race' is the correct term; it's probably 'culture' that is likely the better term in this case. People typically marry the same culture because they will share some values and norms that make it easier to co-habitate and deal with each other's families/in-laws. Different cultures have attitudes towards child-rearing, male/female power structures, sex and relations. Marriage is already a tough go and the prospect of potential cultural clashes is something that has caused people I know to not take the plunge just yet. I know this from personal experience too (albeit at a far more casual level), where I've dated Asian girls and while their families are nice, there's sometimes a language barrier and a degree of 'curiousity' that can be perceived as slightly prejudicial. Also, I was with one girl whose family was Jewish. She was white like me and of the same 'race,' I suppose. But her family preferred she date Jewish guys. So again, I think it's more culture than race.

Ok, you know what? Here: http://jobs.gm.com/search?q=crd&utm_campaign=creativedesignfeature There. That's GM's design department and they're hiring! Since nothing - NOTHING - is capable of meeting your rapidly changing expectations that appear to only apply to GM, THEN WHY NOT GIVE THEM A GOD DAMN CALL AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. BECAUSE GM COULD BUILD A THERMONUCLEAR POWERED SANTA-CHRIST WHO GIVE TOYS TO ORPHANS ON A BACK OF A FLYING SABRE-TOOTH TIGER THAT BLEEDS RASPBERRY JAM AND SQUEEZES SKITTLES OUT OF ITS ASS AND YOU'D STILL COMPLAIN THERE'S NO GRAPE FLAVOUR.
