  5. But those cost money. After buying the new iPhone and paying $65 a month for a plan, how's a creative barista earning 5 bucks an hour supposed to spend even more to get a $49.99 nav app? The better question is asking why Apple fans are happy to be abused again and again by the company they love so much.
  6. The problem is that an i3 can outperform an FX-8150 in most instances. So one of Intel's low-end chips will beat out AMD's highest-tier offering in gaming. So if you're part of the 90% that don't need a high end, i5-2500k chip, you'll just get an i3.
  7. Yay for CPU's that will finally be comparable in single core performance to their K10 based predecessors from three years ago!!!

  9. If that's what it is, I can see why BV bailed from this place.

Rant: People that don't have smartphones with basic data for email. WHY!? TWENTY FREAKIN' TWELVE PEOPLE! #justsayin
  11. Because Audi is the unofficial domain of douchebags, save for A5 owners. Guys with tribals and faux-hawks at age 35 would complain that 'Audi's XTS' is cramping their A4 or TT's style. A sumptuous cruiser like the Phaeton appeals to someone who is wealthy but modest. I'd say that fits with the 'people's car' brand.
  12. So I'm aiming to get a review of the bike up in a week or so. I've taken a few photos, and I'm aiming for an urban/light-industrial motif. I've fooled with the curves, and whatnot. But I'm not familiar with photographing vehicles/motorcycles, as I am of people. I intend to do a pretty professional job so it can be added as a PDF for my portfolio. So... Critiques and comments on these would be very much appreciated!

  14. How dare you buy a vehicle that won't strand you at the side of the road or piss oil on your shoes. Hi.

I'm sick of people's rants about rants about rants.

I'll start: I spent the summer becoming proficient with Adobe Premiere. But the powers-that-be decided to switch wholesale to Final Cut Pro X. Of course, I'm one of the only two people in the group that are not 'creative' enough to already own a Mac. So I can't do work at home or while on the road. And because my PC has AMD hardware, a Hackintosh option is unlikely. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUU.

A hardware forum I belong to has one. Have some RAGE to post that you don't want to open a new thread for? Put it here...

You're jeopardizing your safety and those of other motorists by continuing to drive it, though. At the least, you could potentially end up missing an exam on your way to school if a problem occurs. I think the best option is to change the sensors, as it appears that's the consensus. Do it before school gets even heavier, or you won't have the time to in a couple weeks.
  20. I think the name 'Challenger' has more overall brand cachet. Seems silly to give the SRT moniker and 'halo-car' status to a less recognizable name.

Ditto the sensors. It could be a couple hundred to fix but then selling, (and buying) a vehicle while going to school will be a major pain in the ass.
  22. IT REALLY WORKS! THE SCHTICKY WORKS! MY WHOLE LIFE IS GOING TO CHANGE!
