No wonder GM can't crack the West Coast market. They have a limited number of cars/concepts debuting there. We seem to get all the concepts and new releases in Detroit, Chicago, and New York.

Does this mean I will be able to get my Jeep Rubicon in GM form? I hope so, and I also second the no-go on putting the I-5 in it.

People would have more interest in diesels with more options coming out, and the fact of the price of diesel fuel needing to come way down.

The Silverado does NOT look good in white! The darker colors look much better on it, the GMC on the other hand I have not seen in white but I like it better over the Silverado.

I saw one on my way home Friday morning and caught a glimpse of it from a 3/4 view out of the corner of my eye and I thought it was an Aztek. Then I looked again and I was like, oh its a Compass, my mistake.

OK, OK on "select" models so far.

The 6-speed needs to come in the base models not just the higher end models. If GM would implement this transmission across the board it would be one less gripe the media would have about putting the "ancient 4-speed" in everything.

I looked at a Nitro last weekend at the local dealership. I was extremely disappointed to say the least!! The interior almost needed to be cleaned up after I just about puked in it. The plastic was so cheap and so shiny(no it wasn't armor all) that in direct sunlight I'm sure you would go blind and cause a wreck. I had high hopes for it and have been let down.

You can get a lease deal on a base H3 for around $178 a month in Detroit. That seems to be saying that they aren't moving so the leases are getting lower. A friend of mine leased an H3 this summer and the cheapest lease offer they could get was close to $400 a month.

Don't underestimate Hyundai. They are a very quick to learn company and are one of the fastest growing companies, but they are not losing site of staying the right size and not overinflated. As is the case with Toyota, I think they are so set on world domiance it's going to bite them in the ass eventually/maybe. It is good to see GM in the fight and keeping up the fight. They just need some more cars in the lower priced segements that more people will take notice of instead of the Corvette, and HD pickups. They are slowly getting there.

I don't like this variation either, but its too soon to tell from this what exactly the final product will look like.

Too many models will make the brand lose its identity. Jeep is already going down that path in my opinion, so don't do it to Hummer. They were smart to lose the H1 and I think they should lose the H2 and have the H3 and maybe a Wrangler rival. The H2 is a P.O.S. if you ask me, the drive nowadays is for better fuel economy not worse.

I like it, I just wish the 5-speed auto was available in lower models. To me the Nitro looks alot like a Range Rover, of course cheaper.

It still does not make the Lego looking FJ good in my book.

MotorTrend has some concept in the latest issue of what "they think" the new Impala will look like. Maybe somebody can post the pic.

Just come to Michigan, the Acadia, Outlook, and Enclave are all driving around Metro Detroit streets. I see them everyday, some camoed some not.

The only thing I see as a benefit for GM from Renault is there small car diesel engine technology, buy into that and leave the merger out of it.
