Bonneville pricing
The Bonneville GXP is my favorite Bonneville that's been built in my lifetime-and the best-looking Pontiac sedan of the decade. Aurora vs. Bonneville GXP-decisions, descisions...

Bonneville pricing
It seems like an ok deal-there are 2 Bonneville GXP's near me-one's $23,950 w/20,507 miles and one's $22,959 w/44,699 miles, if that's any help.

C&G First Look - 07 Silverado/Sierra
As long as you can't chip the paint away with your fingernails (like in my mom's Venture), I'll be happy. But I do agree, piano black should at least be optional.

Tonite on Woodward
This show sounds so awesome...it sucks that Detroit is over 10 hours from Baltimore/DC...and all of our major shows/cruises for the season are over. That Impala coupe is beautiful.

C&G First Look - 07 Silverado/Sierra
Oooh-I like the Sierra Denali a lot! And the rims on the extended cab Silverado look nice. I'm a bit sad that the Atlas I6 won't make it into the engine bay, though...

Why am I here?
Delaware's pretty flat...then again, most of the Atlantic Coast is flat. They have plenty of open roads. Too bad the max speed limit on any of Delaware's roads is 55 and that the state police are always out on patrol. Maryland goes from sea-flat (Eastern Shore) to average (Baltimore-DC metro area) to mountains (~hour west of Baltimore on I-70). Speed limits go way down up in the mountains though (like 45 on sections of I-68 through & west of Cumberland)...

07 monte
Hmm...what made them drop the 3.9L V6? Wouldn't 1LT just become LT since 2&3LT are gone? And NOS: 3.5L V6=211hp/224 lb-ft torque, 21/31 mpg 3.9L V6 used to=242hp/242 lb-ft torque, 19/29 mpg

Drove an '06 Malibu LT for a week.
That's how our Venture is set up, but my experiences with the seats are the exact opposite of yours, as you can tell from my above posts-there are no rollers, no easy in-out things, just clumsy, akward, bulky seats that you need to position 6 times before they even begin to line up with the hooks. Fiddling with these seats is probably the worst punishment GM could have dealt me. And I', the only one in my household that has a clus as to how they go in/out.

I can live with an akward placement of a spare tire and extra weight if it means that I'll never struggle with removing/replacing a U-body minivan's rear seats.

The worst American cars of 2006
I'm curious, what's the difference between "least environmentally friendly" and "least fuel efficient"? I always thought that they were one in the same? But to be fair, we should come up with a list for the "Worst Japanese", "Worst Korean", and "Worst European" cars. I don't like them singling out the Americans.

Wow-all of GM's brands scored nicely over the industry average! Nice one GM!

GMInsidenews revitalization plan
Yeah, I probably should have been more specific. The car is great overall-big, bold, classy. I wouldn't object at all if Buick brought this to market. What I should have said was the rear looks a little puffy. It the rear-door bulge was raised up a little bit to blend in with the deck, I think that would take care of any puffiness.

The XLR is on the Y-body along with the Corvette. I saw this when I was poking around GMI. The Roadmaster is nice, but it looked a tad bit puffy to me.

Stow n' Go itself blows our Venture out of the water.

So were you almost slammed into
My day? Eh...I sat around inside. Did some more of that. Went to Lowes for a lightbulb. Drove to a friend's house to drop some stuff off for his mom from my mom. Drove home. Then I came here. I haven't been run into by a Super Duty, but I almost got broadsided by an Excursion in my mom's Venture. He decided that he could go before me at a stop sign, even though I was there first. I never realized how good the U-body's brakes are. Or how easy it is to squeal the tires in them.
