Columbia and Ellicot City are no.4?!? I'd agree with that, but only if you never left the community limits of either place. Columbia does have a nice mall, though.

VW does have some nice things to share, like DSG and Quattro. But I don't think that an alliance between the 2 would make sense in Europe, Asia, and SA, since GM does very well on its own in those markets.

As much as I love Ford and the idea of them and GM teaming up, I wouldn't support a merger/alliance between then at all right now. Each company's problems are enough to manage separately, let alone combined. Maybe later on, when both companies are stable and profitable. I'd rather see Ford and GM continue developing stuff together (like the 6-speed auto) without getting tangled up in a merger/alliance.

Agreed...especially when you're driving an Express cargo van at 70 mph on one of the busiest roads in the region and it starts pouring down rain. It's a stretch to reach the radio dials in one, let alone the passenger-side window crank.

Lookin' good, GM! I really like the interior-2 tones are always a good thing.My Walmart isn't that bad...it just attracts a different clientele than the Target and Kohl's across the street. It's good for basics that the local Giant/Food Lion/Safeway/Bi-Lo doesn't carry, but that's about it. Clothes shopping entails a visit to Kohl's. Walmart has one style of jeans, in one color, in about 7 different sizes (at least for men). The best part about my Walmart is at the exit, there is a large sign of separate letters that reads "Thank You Fo Shoppin At Your Lau el Wal- art!" It's been like that for the past year or so.Weather Channel's calling for 99 tomorrow and Wednesday, and 101 Tuesday, along with something like 80% humidity tomorrow. And my parents will wonder why I stayed inside all day...I loathe our summers. The Sonoma read out 89 at around 7 pm, and now it's down to 78...
