Saw an orange Aston Martin coupe on I-5 north of Burbank. Not sure which model.

The Cruze is the better looking car, but I would go with the Verano because of the engine.

GM also had the 6.2 and 6.5 liter diesel V8s in the light-duty C/K pickups from 1982 onward.

I'm with Camino, the original design was better than the successor. It just seems more pure and purposeful.

With the old Town Car, I was thinking of "This is not your father's Oldsmobile" (which is generally not regarded as a successful campaign) and their trying to break away from the past. I like the MKZ, but the commercial was a miss.

It's the 2014 Hyundai Genesis sedan. The roofline looks a lot like the Azera, but from the distance from the front wheel well to the front door you can tell it's RWD.

Nissan needs to improve the mileage on the trucks and also give them cabins that don't reek of cheapness.

I welcome the technology and the ability to reduce highway deaths and injuries. Every year, 30,000 people are killed and over 2,000,000 people are injured in motor vehicle crashes in the U.S., with some sort of driver error being the primary collision factor in almost all cases. The technology toward self-driving vehicles has been deployed incrementally in the last decade and is becoming much more accessible. I can see complete driverless vehicle technology deployed in about a decade, with the driver being there for the manual override.

I saw a Tesla Model S on Highway 99 in Sacramento. First I've in seen in person, and all I can say is wow.

A couple of years ago, I was considering a position that would put me on the road for thousands of miles every month. My plan was to get a Prius. I decided not to take the position, but if I were to do something like that now, I would get a Volt because it's eligible for the carpool lane stickers (as is the Prius Plug-In Hybrid). A couple of other vehicles a little higher on the fun meter would be the VW GTI and Chevy Sonic. I'm also not a fan of pre-owned vehicles.

Much better. It was getting painfully slow.
