Yeah it is definitely a pushrod. The initial grumble reminds me of my friend's LS6. It does seem to have a supercharger whine, although I may be wrong.

Thanks Mr. Z28. Those are nice machines. I may need your advice on bike riding. I used to mountain bike when I was a kid. I still have a mongoose Mountain Bike, which is about 4 years old. I do not think it will be a good idea to ride 7 miles to work though.

Camino, I have a vibe that your dream will finally come true. It would be a great vehicle. I will much rather prefer this over a Silverado, if I am not going to tow and yet need a bed and a good fuel economy. I wonder how the economics will work, will the profit margin on this vehicle be as high as the pickups? If it is then Chevy needs to push this one.

I do that without any caffeine or energy drinks to keep me working. I can go 3-5 days without any sleep and not feeling zombiestic. Although after the deadline is met, my time is often spent by sleeping about 26 hours non stop (without any breaks including potty breaks) but there is fun in that too.
