SHANGHAI: 2008 Buick Park Avenue (China)
Call me uneducated, but I have never realized how can somebody tell the feel of plastic, just looking at the pictures? Honestly I am not being sarcastic can someone explain that to me?

Sarcasm has made JC what he is and the show. Do I agree with him 100%? NOPE. Sometime you should watch a show with the brain shut down for the knowledge, this is one of them.

NYIAS: Honda S2000 CR
The rims remind me of C5 Z06. But I am with Captainbooyah, even though being 5-10 and medium built I felt cramped in it. My boss who is 6-2 and skinny as a rail, drives one, I wonder if he takes a hot bath to uncramp his muscles after he drives it home.

GM RWD on hold?!
How about Chevy Grove, Beat and Trax V-8's? Make them RWD. Considering how small they are the drive train losses will be negligible and will be still giving about 45 mpg. A nice 2.0l. 240 hp motor will do wonders. :AH-HA_wink:

SHANGHAI: 2008 Buick Park Avenue (China)
Unarguably the best looking modern day Buick sedan. Very well executed. I like the Impala styled taillamps and the front is awesome.

NYIAS: 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Doesn't hurt to bad mouth someone does it? :AH-HA_wink: Actually the prior MCE update interior is one of the least offensive interiors from DCX compared to the other garbages. I hope they do not decide to put in the Compass interior in it.

Toyota Tundra Protest at NYIAS
Toy's ambitious Tundra may be their Deathbed. At least when GM or Ford make their pickups they were not calling themselves green. Toy whored itself to death by calling it green with its Prius. Now face the music.

NYIAS: Mercedes CLK 63 AMG Black
One thing I never understood is why is MB rather AMG so snobbish of putting a Manual Tranny in a machine like this. I mean if it had a manual tranny, things would have been even better. I had a chance of riding one of the SLK's used as F-1 safety car, and those things are SEX when it comes to handling. Give the driver some more operating command MB.

God how mightily ugly that steering wheel looks.

NYIAS: Chevrolet Trax, Beat, & Groove Concepts
I think Grove is better in looks compared to the other three. But I am frankly amazed by the level of details which has gone into these vehicles. I think Chevy should build at least one of these and soon. I will prefer the 1.2 Turbo, dunno how much will it make in terms of power. But like someone else mentioned, keep the weight under 2000lbs and add about a 100 hp, and these things will be a blast to drive. Put in a 6-speed manual, like the Corsa OPC, and I will order it right away. I always wondered why would small cars have to end up with a bad power to weight ratio? Like the Aveo, which has like 22 lb/hp, which is a sloth. They should bring that up to 16-17 lb/hp and it will be a treat to drive.

An awesome conversation
That is a good commercial. I was out on a meeting with the client who is about 60 years old Hispanic gentleman. He is an environmental engineer at Ameristeel. Our conversation was different but the tone was the same. Him: I am looking for a pickup. Me: Cool Sir, What are your options. Him: Nissan Titan, Toyota Tundra and Chevy Silverado. Me: Great. Have you test driven any? Him: Nope, but I read CR and they said Toyota was good and they do not speak highly of the American vehicles. I am looking for the Chevy cuz I like the interior and it is American. Me: Did CR say that the Toyota had the highest number of recalls last year? Him: What??? Me: Yup, that is the "Small Information" which CR apparently failed to print Him: So let me ask you this. What will you buy of those 3? Me: Chevy Silverado 1500. Regular Cab LT1, 4x4 5.3 V-8 with Z-71, package. Him: Why? Me: Because 1. It's initial build quality is better than others according to JD Power. 2. It is not a look at me styled. 3. GM knows how make trucks more than the other two you are considering. I need it because: I want something offroad, I am single and I have to carry my mountain bike or my ATV and a couple of luggage bags, which will be enough for a Regular Cab. Me: My needs may be different than yours, what are your needs? Him: I want something which can tow my 5000 lb boat, and have seat for my wife, and enough luggage space, and yet room for my G-kids. Me: Then you should probably by an Avalanche. Him: I always liked its design, but my colleagues told me not to buy it because, it is GM. Me: Have you test driven it and sat in it? Him: Nope. Me: Go with an open mind and then we can talk again. I know I was kinda cocky in the end, but I convinced him. Let us see how it goes.

G8 Arrowhead
I think it is very meticulously detailed. Everytime I see it I see something subtle and appreciate the workmanship. Good job GM.
