I agree with you YJ. I think Toy will kill NASCAR. I already stopped watching the Truck series since TOY was in contention and after the hearing of stealing Dodge's Engine.

I thought for the '08 the Chinese made 3.4 is gonna have boot and the 3.5l found in the Aura is going to be standard plus the 3.6l in Sports.

I agree with you FOG. Animal farts, Big dams and mother nature cause more global warming than cars do. Yes cars are fuelling the global warming, but certainly not the factor. These greenies are biggest losers. Most of them are stupid nerds who probably were jealous of those highschool friends doing the burnouts in the streets. Since law prevents them from killing those friends, they are using law to kill their friends' equipment and try to get a revenge. If greenies wanna fight why don't they ask people to control the population explosion? More population --> more demand for cars --> more demand for consumer goods --> more demand for natural resources especially trees --> more pollution. :AH-HA_wink:

What I never understood is why did BMW put Toy diesel in the Mini when they themself have amazing diesels.

My driveway needs a 2003 Chevrolet Z06. It has not changed much since my Lumina and TSX. I need a rear driver. Speaking of Lumina it has been 5 years yesterday since my foster momma gave it to me (I rather bought it from her). ---> Valentine's gift for a single kid huh? It had 70,069 on the odo. Now in 5 years 152,092. I love that thing. The best fuel economy I got is 32.2 highway from Indiana to WV. The worst was 19.1 just before I had to change the head gaskets on it. (The EPA rating is 19/29) Problems so far Break Change 2 times (79,140 and 132,651) ($115 for the first one and $132 for the second) Head Gasket at 114,770 miles ($1,129) Front Left Tie Rod at 88,960 ($152) New Michelin Destiny tires at 102,142 ($402) Alternator and Battery Change at 99,462 ($231) Since the head gasket change, the fuel economy has never jumped beyond 28.3 I dunno why. I love my dear old W-body. May be later when I have some dough, I will like to put an LS in it.

Well my brother and I were talking the other day about the crisis of Detroit Automakers. He is not at all a car freak, to him cars are utility but should be beautifil. He asked me a question. "So what if a car company dies?" He said like every other businesses or life in general a company is born and if it is not strong and fit to survive on its own it will be on its path to death. GM is showing some recovery at least an effort. But DC and Ford look like their efforts are muted. Rather than taking it over and taking their mess, why not just let it go if they are not capable of fighting themselves?

Is this based on a new platform or DCX is using the new SLK platform? They shouldn't be considering how light this car is compared to the SLK.
