Spied: Chevy Lambda
The evidence shown by the v shaped rear window bottom, the shape of the taillight assembly, and the evidence of a chrome accent strip above the taillights indicates we may be looking at a throwback to the 1959 Impala.

Beautiful Car! Did it have chrome wheels?

Spied: Chevy Lambda
Looks like they took the headlights right off an impala... We'll see the finished product before I decide if I like it.

FRANKFURT: 2008 Chevrolet Aveo5
If the grille was about 3/4 the size it is there, it would be quite a bit better.

Cars with More than 400,000 Miles
Without a doubt... Not every car's mileage is publicly recorded though.

Cars with More than 400,000 Miles
My aunt had trouble with the timing belt on her '98 V70XC. Seems like a common problem.

RIGHT NOW: UFO SPOTTING
I had a sighting last summer, I spotted what I thought was an oversize star, but it was slightly visible with binocs, it didn't move and pulsed from yellow to orange to purple to blue to green to red to white etc... later on there were three of them and they were stationary.

Cars with More than 400,000 Miles
It was mentioned in an earlier thread that the existence of cars with more than 300'000 Miles (esp. American Ones) should be documented to prove their existence... Have you personally come across any or seen any in your perusals of the internet?? I just found these today: 1996 Saab 900 with 1.4 Million KM http://www.canadatrader.com/result/detaili...gno=2&srt=1 2003 Saturn ION with almost 770K Km http://www.canadatrader.com/result/detaili...gno=1&srt=1 2003 Chevrolet Malibu w. 800K Km http://www.canadatrader.com/result/detaili...gno=1&srt=1 Have any of you come in contact with cars that have this kind of mileage?

My Maxx LT V6 '06 had to have the rotors machined at 21K.

Does it ever bother you?
Aviation actually contributes significantly less to greenhouse gasses and pollution than you might think.

If you wanted to get away, where would you go?
Cape Breton (already got sizable a chunk of land near where the picture was taken):

Buick and Lexus are tied for reliability
I checked out JD Power's archives of this survey going back to 2001 (1998 M/Y Cars) and the Century was still on top, Regal runner up (for every single one). LeSabre and/or Park Avenue shared top spot for Full Size for a good chunk of that too.

Bad news for the Lumina
I wouldn't think so, as the 3400 head gasket problems were resolved around 2004-2005. That was the main big problem with the 3400 and I assume it was corrected, the engine hasn't proven itself though. I've got a 2006 Malibu Maxx 3500 non VVT, and I'm wondering about it too.

2008 Buick Lucerne CXL - Autoweek
Now I've driven a 2006 Lucerne CXL V6 on an extended rental in the maritimes, and It was a good car, I wasn't familiar with it at the time, but when I mashed my foot too the floor on the highway on the way away from the airport, I concluded that it either had a supercharged 3800 or a N* but I looked under the hood, I saw the basic 3800, and was summarily shocked. I personally like the 3800 and given the choice, I'd take a 3800 Lucerne over a N* Lucerne based on economy alone.

Bad news for the Lumina
They got the head gasket problem worked out by 2003... That's a whole different 3100 series anyway, the Series II is on the Lumina, 1997+Cars had the 3100 Series III, which had the head gasket problem solved, if not in from the beginning, definitely before 2000. It's the pre 2004 3400 Vehicles you should be afraid of. I agree with 68, get the Caprice and sell it for a slight profit later.

Does it ever bother you?
If it's a Oldsmobile that could be saved, I get bothered, especially Auroras, Eighty-Eights, Ninety-Eights and Toronados. B-Bodies Too.

Honda's Latest Van Adverts
Meh, We all know that MOPAR has the most innovations and improvements on their vans for this next generation. If they can be reliable, the bar will be set pretty high.
