Dog Days - August
The P-B-G dealer near my place got it's first Enclave on the lot, a Cocoa Metallic one, as well as 3 Acadias. The Saturn Outlook is still king by far, there's twice as many of them as Acadias on the road.

Update Page 2! GM is daring me to look elsewhere for a new vehicle
We feel for you! I hope you can get this sorted out... You're very lucky that the roof isn't leaking... The seal around the window on our last two vans leaked, and it didn't even have a sunroof... The dealer tried to fix both of them 5 times to no avail.

Yeah, the dustbuster gets an honorable mention but not on the real list because I have a soft spot for them.

2007 Lucerne CXL 3.8 hesitation
In my opinion the Italian Tuneup works too... that's what I did for a few days in the Cavalier, stepping on it a little heavy on onramps and hills on the expressway... it made a world of difference! You just need to make it sweat to clean the crap out of there!

1985 Diesel Caprice coupe
I didn't like the rear wheelwells on the 91-92... I'd buy 1994+ B-Body if I could afford to keep gas in it in a heartbeat.

Seen any hot cars?
Saw a big black Bentley on Crowchild Trail today.

Mr. Cobalt, we are calling you out...
I pay 350 a month for a 1997 Cavalier... Relatively young men who drive suffer this punishment... In 10 years I'll be paying about 53$ a month though.

Reynolds-Alberta Museum
I read in the paper a couple of weeks ago that all those cars in their garage that haven't seen the light of day since restoration are going on display in a big tent this summer... I wish I could go up and see it but I'm just swamped recently.

1985 Diesel Caprice coupe
It's definitely not worth that kind of money! It's nice to see one of those bodystyles though, my grandfather's final car 18 years ago was a 1989 Caprice Estate.

Memorials/funerals ... to attend or not to attend
It really depends how close I was to the deceased. In the case of close friends, immediate family, close extended family... I want to be there, but outside of that, I just see myself in a memorial service for someone I never knew enough to feel the way I feel I 'should' at a funeral. If I don't come close to tears during the eulogy, I just didn't know them well enough. I now just send a card of condolence in the cases which aren't mentioned above. There's more than one way to pay respects to the deceased and their next-of-kin.

Honda sued over gas mileage clames
No Kidding... We were having tranny troubles and got rid of it in 1999, regretted it for the whole 6 years we had our first two Ventures. It was a really sharp looking Jade Gray gas sipper, and would look sharp forever and ever because the body wouldn't rust- courtesy of GM's ingenuity to make the body panels out carbon fibre and composite materials (something they learned from Saturn). It looked just like this picture from CarDomain of someone else's ride:

Honda sued over gas mileage clames
No... US Gallons. I'm not yanking your chain. The vehicle was alot lighter because of the carbon fiber body panels and had a low drag co-efficient. It was also driven closer moderately conservatively. Also... On our Malibu Maxx 3.5L we just averaged 23.6 US MPG city, just shy of the EPA estimate. CR must drive the soul out of those cars because we've never even dipped below 21.9 City since we bought it.
