Well, Just after getting the Cavalier back from the dealership for a 700 dollar Brake Job, as well as a Wheel/Front End Alignment and A the replacement of a broken bolt that was causing the clopping noise that I described earlier. Now something new has popped up. Whenever I turn the steering wheel either when the car is stopped, or at <35KPH, I get this high pitched "Wheeeeeeee" sound coming from the column? It's lower pitch than the sound of the electric steering on the Maxx, but it's a new sound that has now only popped up... Any Insight??

Yeah go for the 98, the 3800 over a 3500 any day. If I was to consider a W Body of that era it would be a Regal, Century, or GP.

I was driving along the other day, and I noticed that the Calgary Police Service is replacing their Impalas, and to a smaller extent, their Crown Vics with Dodge Chargers... from what I saw, it looked real mean with a reinforced bumper, steel wheels and a blacked out grille (Sorry, no pics). This has led me to ask the question- is Dodge winning back favour in the police market... How have these cars caught on elsewhere?

In 2005 we almost bought a new Navy Blue Uplander LT AWD, for 36,000$, but instead, got a Navy Blue 2005 Venture LS carryover with all the same equipment except AWD for 28,000 after incentives. Parents almost bought a 1989 Pontiac 6000, but bought a 1989 Grand Am instead.
