How are your grocery stores looking over there? Unbelievable the toilet paper hoarding going on here (I don't get it at all). Aside from that they are very busy as well and shelves are starting to look a little bare. Not Contagion (the movie) level bare but the worst I've seen it.

I'm going to be working from home more and relying on our parents a lot (we are lucky that they are available and willing), our schools are closed for the next three weeks (one was planned March Break, the rest tacked on). Funny my son's class got an "assignment" last week regarding them documenting the fun things they got up to during March Break, going to be a heck of a lot of "stayed home and played with lego" etc instead of "Went to Europe/Hawaii/The Rockies" etc

What about public transit?

I also dont see the value of a two seat unibody mini truck here other than potentially a very bargain price. If you don't have room to park a midsize truxk, wouldn't you be better served by something that can hold some passengers too on occasion? Pretty easy to rent a BOF truck on those days or hours you might need one.

Review: 2020 Lexus UX 200 F-Sport
Cadillac might as well make an XT3 for the China market. China is Cadillac's biggest market, it sells more vehicles there than in the US, and they don't sell the Escalade there. There is no legacy of large cars (or desire for large cars) or sentimentality for old model names there. GM has been losing market share in China for a few years now, they might as well bring new models to try to attract buyers.

He is good, better now with Jack Singapore instead of Turbowski. Looking forward to a C8 review from him eventually.

Will probably still sell in decent numbers to Ford loyalists based on name alone despite its issues. Looks like the suspension is not up to snuff either... https://www.motortrend.com/cars/kia/telluride/2020/2020-ford-explorer-vs-2020-kia-telluride-three-row-suv-comparison/ The Explorer also rode well over broken surfaces, though it lacked composure. "The suspension is quite bouncy, and the cabin movement was quite notable," Cortina said. Its vague steering also felt overboosted, and the cabin of our tester suffered from so much wind noise at highway speeds that Evans thought one of the rear windows wasn't fully closed. When driving through twisty roads, the Explorer flopped around more, and its poor body control made it feel unwieldy through tight roads.

The new Explorer interior looks totally half-assed, like they ran out of cash and had to do everything as cheap as they thought they could get away with on the interior. Looks really bad when you compare it to the Korean three row "twins" interior that came out just before it.

Cadillac News: The Unclear Future of the Blackwing V8

Our tentative plan to reduce winter exposure is January to mid-March in Portugal/Spain/Greece once retired, spring and early fall trips to Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, some Southeast Asia. Just have to be frugal to make it happen within the next ten years.- Cadillac News: The Unclear Future of the Blackwing V8
Ugh, GX or XT6, I'll pass on both. If I was into offroading I might like the GX but such a dated interior and poor on-road dynamics. Nice leather I'm guessing though.- Random Thoughts Thread
We like the city life.. Not quite downtown, quiet street, but still a short walk to the subway line. Walk the kids to school, walk to the bakery, library, grocery, etc. Eventually will be in a condo closer to downtown as we plan to spend a lot of our retirement abroad for months at a time.- Chicago 2019: 2020 Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road: Comments
Drove a 2019 RAV4 hybrid briefly last fall when my SO was looking for a new ride, it was definitely better than the regular model by quite a bit, though still a bit noisy. I would have been okay with it as a daily driver due to the fuel economy and competence of it. Quite spacious too compared to the CX5 which drove better, but still had a lot of understeer as well when driven a little hard IMO, just less than other CUVs. She ended up with an Outback Limited 3.6R.- Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM
Looks exactly like what I expected, a Model3/X combination, Tesla egg-like greenhouse. Mach E is really its only obvious competitor currently minus the self driving and range (also $500 deposit), but I'm sure in three years or so there will be more. Hopefully the competition will catch up on the battery tech/efficiency this decade.- Subaru Plans To Go Electric-Only By the Mid-2030s
