Subaru Shows Off The Lighter And More Fuel Efficient Impreza
I'd say trunk hinge design is a little more important if you use your trunk pretty often. Goosenecks suck soooo bad. by yeah, the only way I can see window frames mattering that much is if you regularly slam your finger in the door.

Subaru Shows Off The Lighter And More Fuel Efficient Impreza
I like the sedan, but not the hatch. The rear third of it just looks awkward. I did like the concept sedan better though. Hopefully, the WRX/STi will regain some of that machismo the concept had.

Your MPG
I usually pay attention to my DIC, though I've had a long-running suspicion that it's inaccurate. BUt it still averages be out to around 25-26mpg which, considering how I drive, is pretty decent.

Another one bites the dust.
^^^Concurrence^^^ what a lot of so-called "religious" people seem to forget are a few pretty important things the Bible also said: Love all, serve all. All of us are brothers. Judge not, lest ye be judged thyself. Put the welfare of others before your own. Treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself. all that gets cast aside and perverted when "religious" zealots use whatever Scripture they can get their grubby paws on to preach hate, xenophobia and hypocrisy. No wonder so many reject religion or have a distorted view on it; people like this drive them to it. the devil will quote scripture to meet his own ends. I realize I'm not perfect, I make mistakes. I sin. I know I shouldn't, but I do. I'm human. But I still try to remember those five points I mentioned. The way I see it, those are probably more important rules to live by than "you're gonna go to hell if you do the slightest thing wrong!!!" or anything else that these fascists want to shove down our throats.

A Long Time Coming...
Osama was actually a student of Sayyid Qutb, a man who was reviving the teachings of fringe 18th century scholar Mohammed Al Wahab. It's Wahab's teachings about how women should wear burqas and be treated differently from men and Qutb's teachings that the middle east should cut itself off from the west that influence modern Muslim extremism, not merely Osama himself. And just to cut off the the comments from the historically ignorant and socially inept anti religious bigots on the board, suicide bombing was developed by atheist Tamil Tigers and secular Lebanese Leftists in the 1980's: http://www.literaryreview.co.uk/gray_12_10.html Burqas are outlawed in more Muslim countries than Muslim countries that require them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hijab_by_country#Muslim_world Four of the top five countries with Muslim majorities have female heads of state: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_political_leaders_in_Islam_and_in_Muslim-majority_countries And over 60% of Muslims are actually in Asia, not the middle east: http://pewforum.org/uploadedfiles/Topics/Demographics/Muslimpopulation.pdf Just in case I haven't offended everyone yet, the Packers suck, Macs are over priced and atheists are just as capable of being wildly irrational as religious folks are of being rational. There, now minus this post at will. instead your research, sanity and reason get you four plusses...

Hey GM
I still stand by my belief that the Cruze is the second dorkiest-looking car GM has manufactured.

FT-86 Part 7 - Scion Shows Off The FR-S
Dear Toyota: I like the FT-86. I like the FT86 G's. I like the FT-86 II. I do not like the Scion brand. At all. I do not want a Scion FR-S. I want a Toyota Sprinter Trueno. Regards, Turbojett PS: I'd like the Celica (old-school RWD) and Supra back as well. Think you can handle that, or would that corrupt your wholesome, boring-as-oatmeal image?

Chevrolet Debuts the New Malibu
I kind of expected the taillights to be a bit slimmer, based on the teaser pic, but they're not bad. I still say the rear shoulder needs to be hiked up a little bit. Boattail looks good though. Interior is phenomenal.

Vehicular Ownership Spreadsheet
$h!ty luck with cars: 1989 Honda Prelude - hand-me-down - red/peeling clearcoat - 5sp manual - don't care enough to remember the engine - siezed thermo/blown headgasket/siezed engine/blown transaxle--hooned it when it was apparent it was dying; went out in a blaze of glory. 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - bought used (one year old) - Black - 6sp manual - 5.7L LT1 - overheated itself in rush hour traffic 4/20/04; damaged right head--in process of engine rebuild, perhaps full restoration; that's my baby, it's not dying on me!. 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt Base coupe - bought new - Black - 5sp manual - 2.2L I4 - just had its second clutch replacement (probably my fault), in need of a tune-up in the worst sort of way.

Chevrolet Debuts the New Malibu
Not altogether sold on the bumper strike face surfacing. I thing it should flow more smoothly into a slightly, more gently protruding nose. Looks--dare I say--somewhat trucklike here. I also think the rear fender line should rise up another 1 - 2in on the shoulder, and it should flow farther into the door and underline the rear quarter window. I realize they did that for panel alignment/fitment issues, but really it just looks like it ends too abruptly-- Like: "OH! Door cutline!" *comes to a screeching halt* Those are minor little nitpicks though. Nothing I couldn't deal with or get used to and come to accept in time. The rest of it is money, though.

Sweet! I'd love to see pics of that. SE or R/T? (Can't imagine you could get a used SRT for the same price as a 350Z)
