  1. Oh yeah, I saw that Jaaaaaaaaag a couple weeks ago. It is GORGEOUS. The rear end is perfect. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar; this is not one of those times.
  2. Freakin' A, Hearty congrats on a job well done! Mini Charger FTW.
  3. the first car was the Benz motorwagen of 1886, Daimler's motor carriage followed soon after the same year. Granted they both are "Mercedes-Benz" today, but back then there was no such thing. But yes, I was always under the understanding that Cadillac was in fact the second-oldest American automobile company behind Oldsmobile. I didn't even know anything bearing Buick's name was around back then; in fact, I thought Ford was older as well (1901).
  4. so they're going to make nothing but ugly suv's?
  5. Dude in my neighborhood just got a 2011 GT500. Blue, white stripes, red accent striping along the racing stripes. Looks and sounds amazing.
  6. '68 Mustang GT

Sweet. I got to see STP's reunion, and now I must see SOAD.
  8. Good God, man, they're expensive enough to repair. I mean that would look cool, but just imagine if somebody rearends you at ten miles an hour, you have to replace the whole body instead of just a fascia. and if you're just sealing in the panel seams, then you'd have to reputty the seam, and repaint the whole car (which you know they'll do, rather than just spot-paint). Either way, you could probably buy two Breras for the repair cost.
  9. Yes, but the point is that it actually sells, and it actually sells rather decently. All of their other models don't. Granted, they aren't as dime-a-dozen as Mitsubishi hoped, but that's the only car keeping them alive. If you cut your lifeline, you die; simple as that. It's just a bad move on their part. Also a bad move denying enthusiasts one of the better sporty cars on the market.
  10. Mansory destroys everything they touch. They killed a Ferrari 458 as well. Bastardi. Looks like a glowstick peed on it.
  11. ...so it's basically a Cinquecento with the same quarter windows and cut roofline that Zagato designers slap on every car they futz with. Looks alright, but I can't say I'm terribly impressed.
  12. that chassis will be a pretzel after the first hooning. And I'd never pay that much for a car that really should be under a salvage title.
  13. The Avenger was just horribly done all around. Any one of us could have done a better job with the LX Charger's design cues on a midsized platform. anyway, maybe I should have done that with my wheels too. I got lazy with them because I hate doing wheels, and couldn't come up with a decent design.
  14. Every color of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 rainbow My favorite is the Nero Pegaso: Total nut bust. But here is Grigio Estoque, which is probably closest to the color you're imagining: Also: Official Aventador website The officially official press pics + release I know it's not much more help, but this is basically all there is on the internet right here.
  15. They can't do this! This makes me mad! If they follow through with this, they're absolute fools! The Evo is one of my favorite Japanese cars; and one of my favorite cars period, really. Not only that, it's the only car they make that actually sells halfway decently, or is even worth anybody's time. So they're going to discontinue the one car that's keeping them in business? The one car that there's actually demand for? IDIOTS. THE LOT OF THEM.
  16. Ooh, I like that one, too. Very mini-Charger. How did you do the wheels? They look sort of 3-D realistic rather than vectored like the rest of the car.
  17. Well, I don't think I'll color the SRT in enough time...I tried, but it'll just have to stay a sketch for the contest. Regardless of what happens, I'll still finish coloring it and post in the Design Showcase once the contest is over--and that'll even give me some time to do multiple shots. and this just means I'll have to bring out las pistolas mas gigantes for the next one.
  18. badge engineering
  19. And don't forget Emilio!! Oh, I couldn't never forget Emilio! Who could forget Emilio? (eeh...who's Emilio again?) oh, right, right...looks more like Martin than Charlie does, I think.
  20. really, guys? it's a brand new Lamborghini -- one with a name we can actually pronounce correctly, no less -- and nobody says anything?
  21. Ah yes! Now they've sort of take over the funny factor from The Office, by beating them at their own game. That show is hilarious. and Sofia...
  22. Yeah, it's amazing. Martin Sheen is a distinguished, respectable actor; and then Charlie ended up being some twerpy prick with an alcohol/coke/whore addiction.
