  1. What happened to the whole "oil from algae" thing (or any other method that can reduce our dependence on foreign oil)? Then we can replace foreign oil with domestically produced oil, and not raise taxes.
  2. Finally found this pic... ... carved it 3 years ago! 68: did you get the idea for the first jack-o-lantern (big one eating the small one) from the Food Network's pumpkin carving challenge?
  3. Info for the 2010 Camaro is up on kbb.com. They list a limited slip differential as standard on all trims.
  4. I'm just barely seeing $3.15 here.
  5. Is the Kappa coupe still coming?
  6. With all the talk of the Camaro being overweight, would anybody be interested in a "light weight" package (sort of like the M3 used to have)? Say... ditch all the airbags except the front two dumb down the center stack and stereo (lose some speakers) ditch unnecessary electronics (traction control, stabilitrak, OnStar) use light weight materials for the seats use "plastic" (like the Corvette) hood, trunk lid, front fenders, and door skins lighten some of the suspension pieces
  7. You wouldn't think so, which is why I was so surprised when my mom got an AWD Vibe as a loaner while her Enclave was being serviced. And, it's not like the car came from a "bad weather" state... it had CA plates!

Thanks guys... I actually got the idea myself, after recently riding in a slightly modified Turbo T-Type. I was thinking a '97, '98 Camaro with the turbo 6 and a 6M would be fun.

Take the car and give it a turbo 6 from a GN.

Only problem I see is, the base price on all the Astras went up by a little over a grand...
  11. It was in the mid 90's in the LA area yesterday, and it's been pretty warm during the past week or so... weird for October...

Around here (so cal) diesel is close to, if not slightly cheaper, then 91 octane right now.

What's with the hump in the headliner above the driver's side rear passenger?
  14. I haven't even seen it below $3.40 in So Cal (LA and SD areas).

Pricing looks good... I'm waiting for it to show up on KBB, so I can see if there are options for certain things to be deleted and others to be added.

I think it looks fine... at least on my computer screen. By the way, wasn't the Traverse the first Lambda that was supposed to get a unique center-stack (not corporate radio etc.)?

I posted some links to other renderings and info here a little while back.
  18. Didn't they just buy it?

Maybe he means he installed a fuel cell, as in the gas tanks like NASCAR uses, and he gets great mpg because he forgot to include the added fuel capacity to his calculations.

The Cubs weren't able to pitch (game 1), field (game 2) or hit (all three games).
  24. Hmmm... so I guess I'll never get the burger... Have you had the "Super Chief," at Chief's in Solana Beach? That's a good sized burger, and definitely not dry.
