Buick Enclave features leather, wood
I really wish the Enclave was already here. The name is staying for production, no?

Velite, RWD Buick coming?
GM seems so up in the air with all of their plans, I don't know what the hell to believe.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Toyota Camry
You're comparing the production version of the Camry to the concept version of the Aura.In terms of interior, although I haven't seen the Aura's production interior yet, I am doubtful it'll look as good (in my opinion) as it does in the concept. And I am doubtful I'll like it more than the Camry's. The exterior, however, I prefer the Aura. How close the production version will be, we'll see.

Bottled Water vs. Tap Water
Well, my friend has a house upstate.. they have well-water. They use a sulfer-smelling cleaning system to purify the water. If you don't use the water often enough, it smells like rotten eggs (i.e., if they're not at the house for a month). Maybe it has something to do with the purification? Do you use well water?Oh, and where's the choice for "both"? I drink a ton of water, but it's half and half. (no, not the cream, but more the mixture).

Chicago/New York are next, what should we expect?
Why the LaCrosse CXS?

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Nissan Sentra
I agree. Looks clean, not blindingly shiny like others. And, people, this is a Sentra. Should the wood be the most incredible looking ever? No. Is it better than some? Yes. So I say thumbs up.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Toyota Camry
The Camry's arse looks like it's sagging a little when compared to the Sonata.

Park Avenue replacement
I don't know if that's going to happen before the LaCrosse Super. I mean, the LaCrosse Super is supposed to be a 2008 model. I doubt they'd not announce a Lucerne Super that was to appear this summer and introduce it before the LaCrosse's.

Park Avenue replacement
Sorry about the "stupid" smilie, but I wanted one that said, "What he said." and couldn't find it!

Lutz on GMTV about Enclave
I foresee the DI 3.6 will have a good amount of torque. I mean, 260-280 torque should be fine. If you want to tow heavy things, you'd want to opt for the V8 anyway, imo.

Buick & Lucerne
With exception to the headlights, I'm seeing more Park Avenue than Lucerne.

Lambda-Can they build a sedan based on this???
If they make a Caprice, I'd like it to be longer than 200 inches. The Impala is 200 inches. Make the Caprice about 204 or 205. I miss LARGE cars.

07 impala 6speed
I'm hoping the 6-speed makes it into the Impala for 07... there are some cars I feel it should be in standard: 2007 w/ 6-Speed Auto: - Buick LaCrosse - Buick Lucerne - Buick Rainier - Cadillac DTS - Chevrolet Impala - Chevrolet Malibu/Maxx SS - Chevrolet Monte Carlo - Pontiac G6 GTP - Pontiac Gran Prix (is it going to be around for 07?) - Saturn Aura (we know it'll have it) The 6-speed, combined with the DoD on the 3.9L (if they can get it working without that noise), should improve its fuel economy a bit as well as even get a tad more performance out of the cars.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Honda Fit
You have a very good point there.

Buick & Lucerne
... and yet, I'd still buy one LOL

Buick & Lucerne
Ode to the Century (92): Where o where has my low fuel light gone? Where o where can it be? Where o where is my remote trunk release? O dang, Buick hath not given one to me! Where o where is my trip odometer? Where o where can it be? It seems as though I must write the numbers down, And calculate in my head as it's all up to me. Moving onto the Lucerne, I saw my first one on the road the other day, CXL V6... and I am so going to cry when I write this, but: I was completely underwhelmed! :( Maybe it was the color, Sandrift Metallic, but man, it was just like, "Oh, okay. It looks like a nicer Park Avenue, but, uh, BORING." I can't believe I am saying this about the car as I just LOVE it on the computer! Maybe I was expecting something a little edgier? Maybe I have to get a closer look? I only got to see it for a second.

Cleaning house...
Only three times have I ever "dumped" friends. Both were deserving situations... I make it a rule to not do that, but if it starts affecting my life, it has to be done: 1) Suicidal friend from High School... spent YEARS trying to help my friend out but towards the end of the friendship, it just got WAY too heavy for me, because she would try to commit suicide and then call me at 6:15AM on my way to work and tell me she took pills and vodka to wash them down. This happened way too often. It was purely for an attention grabber. She also insisted she could communicate with the dead--and that she had spoken to my grandfather, describing things that were clearly not him (although she wouldn't accept that when I told her). Yeah. After a while, I just had to say buh bye, because I found myself stressed and depressed over what to do with her. She was on heavy medication from a psychiatrist but never a psychologist to deal with her probs. 2) This girl that was my friend's friend. She had serious issues with growing up, and insisted if I wasn't gay we'd be together (no effin' way). I never really liked her, but was civil as she was my friend's friend who ended up just remaining friends with her out of pity rather than a decent friendship. Anyway, this girl, would continually try to flirt with me, touch me, and whatever, despite the fact that she knew I was gay and I NEVER once made any suggestion I was interested... AND, I already had a hag, so that role wasn't going to be filled. 3) A guy who's ego is off the charts... was a college roommate. Knew I thought he was attractive, and he played on that. Lied to me left and right. Walked around naked in front of me, simply to know he was making me blush. Had me hide the fact that he was cheating daily on his gf (and now wife), over and over. After his father died suddenly, all of his friends including myself hung out with him to get him through it, and he just became a complete impossible jerk after that, spreading rumors about people including me, etc. Those three I said bye to, and I don't regret those decisions AT ALL. I know how much it can hurt when a friend kinda dumps you, but guess what, it happens to everyone. I lost my friend that I had been friends with for 21 years, because I told him I was gay one day, and I haven't seen or heard from him since. Yet, a year ago, my parents were invited to his wedding.

2006 Impala LS review
Does anyone know if the 3900 is quieter than the 3500?

Could This Be The Next CTS?
Thank God that's not the next CTS... the way the car angles in all over... kinda feel like it would really take away from interior space... also reminds me of an edgy bubble.

Check out ENCLAVE on BUICK.COM
I was SO relieved to hear that! I just hope the interior stays like 95% like the original... I mean, I realize the rear center stack will disappear as will the LCD screens overhead, but I would LOVE to see that real wood make production, the chrome and satin-nickel accents around the speedometer and dash stay, etc.

2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKS Concept
It is just horrible... I mean horrible. I see so little Lincoln in that. The rear and the front are horrendous.

Do you like...
I honestly don't care for it much. I am not to fond of coupes, and I HATE the Solara and this reminds me of it. The last coupe I really liked (aside from the Camaro and Corvette), was the previous generation Accord Coupe.
