  1. What blows my mind is that the telescoping steering wheel is available on the cheaper LaCrosse!
  2. Well, Aurora offered an 8... it would have been nice if any Buick sedans offered an 8 in the past several years. Then again, that is now going to be a moot point! :)

    Happy Birthday Olds!!! :)
  4. I'm very anxious to know exactly how the 3.9L would improve with the 6speed. I can't imagine MUCH improvement, but then again, I don't know too much about this area, so I'll keep my mouth shut. How does the engine perform vs. the 3800? I mean, obviously it has more power, but is it quieter? Smoother in any way? I'm a little disappointed the engine didn't get more power. I would have expected 250+hp from it.

Do you know if the EPA has any intentions of revising their tests to get more accurate results? I'm curious to see what the Prius would get under new standards. Just as the new SAE ratings lowered Toyota's hp/torque output numbers, revised fuel economy tests would do the same. I wonder if any GM vehicles would get higher ratings for fuel economy under new tests. It's not unheard of that many of their vehicles see more economical results than the ratings the cars are given, (i.e. Malibu V6).
  6. What ever happened to that gorgeous interior we saw a shot of like a month ago? I admit, the interior is definitely funky, and it would definitely sell to some, however, it's just cheap looking. Then, there's the whole center speedometer/tach... SO many have complained, yet they put the new one there too? STUPID. I like the looks of the new speedo/tach, but it's location must be moved. I agree there is too much dead space between the center vents. Maybe a nice dully-lit, LED-illuminated word, "ION" would be great there.
  7. Do you know for sure it'll get the 3.6? It should get the 3.6, but I've heard rumors of the 3.9 going in. <_<
  8. I can't wait to see a 0-60 time :)
  9. If he's in the Prius, the premise could be he's pissed about the false claims with the fuel economy, and call it like Priuspussy. LOL
  10. Wow... that's just fucking awesome!! :)

Blu, we have the exact same taste in color schemes for the car. Looks SO beautiful!
  12. Now now, Ocn... he may with the Camry SE! It has a spoiler... and an amber instrument cluster.

I was surprised myself... I wonder what my Century does with the 3.3L? Just for comparison of course.
  14. Wow... what a post to come back to after not checking out the lounge in weeks! Sixty8, I'm so sorry to hear what's going on. Taking your own life is not the answer, it solves absolutely nothing, and you must think of Sofia--she needs a father. I know this may not be what you want to hear, but I just want to say that there are MANY people who improve relationships after splitting up--even if they're not improved to the point of being a couple, sometimes they're improved where you can become friends. It is important for Sofia's sake that you try to get along with Marcia, even if it doesn't work out into a relationship again. You need to be there for your daughter, and I'm sure Marcia will understand you being a very important part of her life. As for you, you're a good-looking intelligent guy who may have made some mistakes in the past, but you realized them and resolved them. I'm not sure what else to say--I don't know you too well, but you seem like a great guy. Life is weird... it throws you curveballs all the time. You just need to be as strong as you can right now, if not for yourself, for Marcia and your C&G family that loves ya :)

That's a great little read, thanks for posting it. I love the shot of the Lucerne on the top of the article... looks classy and aggressive for a sedan. Great! I'm anxious to see this car in person... would absolutely love to get one but unfortunately it's above my means at the moment. Maybe a used one in a year will suit me (would want a CXL - preferably ming blue with tuxedo interior)
  16. Why can't we get a 270hp version of the 3.9L now?
  17. Honestly, those numbers in a "family sedan" are scary. I mean, that is really ballsy and completely genious of Chrysler. Seriously, if Buick had a LaCrosse that handled well, looked a little sporty, and put out numbers like that, it'd definitely sell.
  18. I doubt I'll see one before January.

Whoah! €150.000 is insane!! To think what one could do with all that money rather than spend it on a car!
  21. I like the looks of that... imagine, a car that actually looks good with the oval grille  If they made one of those, called it the LaCrosse coupe, it'd sell.
  22. Can anyone post the image up here for those who aren't GMI members? I'd love to see :)
  23. I have confidence it will be. I can't believe people bought them at that price with the interior they had--granted it was nicer than the other versions (Chevy, GMC, etc), but c'mon, in a $55K vehicle, it was shameful! I've said it before and I'll say it again... I can't wait to see what the "granite package" is! :)
  24. They'll come back--just in time. And Roadmaster was already confirmed.

Nice, I want to see the interior too!
