I just picked up a black 2GB Nano and dear god this thing is small. It makes my iPod Mini look huge. I haven't had a chance to really play with it yet, waiting for it to charge.

Audi and Honda have been using CVTs for years, Subaru used one in the Justy (not sure if they spread it to any other cars) but GM does not have much experience with CVTs, they put them in some Saturns, but that backfired. DCX doesn't have one in production that I know of (SMART maybe?) Toyota doesn't have one that comes to mind (I dont keep track of their overseas offerings) the only one BMW makes goes into the Mini, Audi is the only member of the VW group that uses them. I'm sure all of these companies have done a good bit of development work on them, but the question is how will the general public accept them? If they can have regular X-speeed autos that everyone is used to, and have a large ratio spread, might as well stay on the safe side.

I'm not going to lie, I didn't notice, in any of the NLDS, NLCS or WS games that I watched, that there were no blacks on the Astros. I'm sure only a handful of people took notice of that. When "2 or 3" teams out of 30 dont have a black player, and all 30 teams have a Latin player, there is really no reason to bring this up.

Mercedes uses a 7-speed. I'd say that until CVTs become actual proven technology, we're going to see 6,7,8,9,25 speed autos. Remember what happened last time GM had a CVT, it wasn't pretty, and I'm not just talking about the car itself.

I dont like the looks of the interior that much, but the way everything is cleanly integrated is pretty nice. None of the material changes or cut lines most cars have, no huge black radio/hvac stuck into an otherwise tan center stack.

Yeah, they're worse than Jon Miller and Joe Morgan on ESPN. Miller never seems to actually say anything and Morgan tries to bring up the '75 Reds or the fact that he's in the Hall of Fame. I've driven MI roads, not pleasant. Back to what the thread ia about, I've been driving the last year without ABS, I did a little sliding during a blizzard last year, but that wasn't realling a brake issue, and I've had a couple of lockups in the rain, but overall, I think I like not having ABS.
