Ford should just be Ford Trucks, completely dump the car side of the business. Let Mercury and Lincoln get sedans, coupes and wagons, Ford can be their GMC. Mercury can get the Focus(Tracer perhaps?), Milan (add a wagon), Montego and that minivan thing and Lincoln can go above that. Ford can have the Escape, Explorer, Expedition and F-series.

Whats amazing about the Impy is that they seem to be flying off lots. Part of the reasons dealers dont have them is ramp up, the other part is that they seem to be sold within a couple of days. Has anyone else noticed this? The dealers will get 4-5 in one day, park them up front and the'll all be sold in a couple of days. Same with the HHR. I cant say that about Ford, the bumbling idiot of the car industry.

Um, wow. The Solstice will probably be a fine vehicle and the Z4 may have the same ugliness issues that all recent BMWs have, but I highly doubt that anyone, anywhere will say the Solstice is as good as a Z4 or a Boxster.

Actually, old people do buy minivans, far more than younger people do it seems, at least recently. Lots of room, good view of the road, not impossible to get into or out of, minivans are perfect for the older crowd.

When I was like 9 or 10, we went to Atlanta as kind of a vacation/checking out the area in case my dad transferred there trip. We drove our RV down there and rented a Tempo, it was the first car I can remember being in with power windows. My sister stuck her head out the window while we were parked somewhere and I closed it. No damage, other than a headache. But yeah, that SOOOO would have been Ford's fault if something had happened.

Hell, dont even do that, just cover it up with some garbage bags, maybe use cardboard underneath to change the shape up, snap a few pics and sell them, but be sure to tell whoever you sell them to that it was RWD and sounded like it had a V8 and the interior was top notch.

99% of the time, I dont notice race. I learned a long time ago that there are factors far more important than race when trying to understand the viewpoint of another person. At the same time I know that race is part of how a person turns out. The reason I point out race when it comes to NASCAR is that it is so noticeable. Watch five minutes of a race, anytime you see the stands, its full of white people. When a person is used to the more ethnically diverse sports like baseball and football, things like that seem to pop out. I cannot tell you when the last time was I noticed the skin color of a person sitting in the stands at a baseball game, but when I saw some NASCAR highlights of some dude winning a race and climbing up a fence, I sure as hell noticed that the people behind that fence were of the same ethnicity. Maybe I'm just looking for something to bash NASCAR on and I'm playing the race card. Or maybe NASCAR is becoming huge, with millions of fans, hundreds of sponsors and hours of television coverage and I think that it sends the wrong message when everyone related to it is white.
