It's OK with me. Means I might have to track down some side skirts and a front dam, too. And maybe some 17" wheels... :AH-HA_wink: -RBB

C&G strikes again
I have to say they did a terrific job on the body work. I'm told that color's hard to match, but it looks flawless, with now blend lines or anything. I thought the spoiler might look a little out of place on what's essentially the base-model body, but I like it. I do notice that it pulls to the left a bit at highway speeds - I hadn't felt that before, and have a call into the dealer to see if that can be corrected. no pics yet, will have to try again tonight or tomorrow. -RBB

C&G strikes again
It's back, though not exactly in the same shape it was before. Got the car back late Friday afternoon, five weeks after this mess began. The body shop did an excellent job - panel gaps are extremely tight, and you can't see any blend lines on the paint. Now, to explain the above comment - I got a call from the shop manager a few weeks back. He said they made a mistake. The trunk that was ordered was one that had mounts for a spoiler. He asked if I'd rather he send the trunk back and wait for a new one to arrive, or if I'd allow him to install this trunk with a spoiler at no additional charge. I took the latter option, and am quite happy I did so - it looks good. They also ordered a rear bumper that had the built-in ground effects, so now I guess I'll have to get this sill and chin skirts to match. I'll try to have pics up by tomorrow. -RBB

Toyota Camry Hybrid Gets The Kid Gloves Treatment
Re: the kid gloves thing - it seems to me Edmunds was evaluating Toyota's claim of a 650 mi range between fillups. They found that if you treat the car with kid gloves, then that range is attainable. I don't think they were babying it just to prop the car up, though I'd like to have seen them done a cycle with more normal driving conditions (harder starts, stop-and-go, keeping up with normal traffic flow instead of cruising at 60 mph) for comparison. It's okay to admit that Toyota does hybrids well. For those who are environmentally conscious (or at least want to appear that way) and don't mind 4-cyl-esque performance, it's a nice choice. Personally, I don't care for hybrids b/c they're not cost effective. But, they do have a place in the market, and the Camry Hybrid is a decent entry. Lets hope the Aura hybrid holds its own when it debuts. -RBB
