  1. It really depends where I am. In Oregon the water is good and general clean. In California (Southern atleast) I can't drink the tap water without getting ill.
  2. I could see the Impala getting the 6 speed just for marketing reasons alone.

I would baby a couple of GM cars for as long as I could get away with it, then continue to support our schools by buying American owned and made (sticking with Ford).
  4. That's a perfect idea.
  5. Not my kind of car (I think it looks Korean cheap), but a great idea for honda in todays high gas mileage market place.
  6. My wife stated that as long as it comes in under $25,000 they Cobalt will be traded in for one. Nice when ones wife agrees.
  7. A dealer friend of mine, who is credible, stated that his GM rep said there will be a Park Avenue replacement this summer. Does anybody know anything about it? GM is better at keeping secrets now days, so it wouldn't suprise me.
  8. Don't forget that Saturn is supposed to be a full line dealership, meaning as Chevy gets a minivan, so shall Saturn.
  9. I got a full joke for you that Oregonians love. There are 3 guys camping. One from Oregon, one from New York and one from California. While sitting around the New Yorker decides it would be fun to throw up the beer cans they've finished off to shoot at. He throws up the first one and hits it spot on. The Californian looks at him and says I bet I can do that with my eyes closed. So he throws up the can, closes his eyes and hits the can spot on. Without missing a beat the Oregonian joins in the fun and throws a can in to the air only to turn to the Californian and shoot him. The New Yorker panics and says, "What did you do that for?". The Oregonian reponds, "Californians are a dime a dozen, the cans worth a nickel." Point here; 45. You moved to the Northwest purchased a 5000 sq ft home for a 1/4 of the price of the home you sold in LA only to move back to LA a year later due to weather depression, wondering how you can afford a home again in LA.
  10. And this from Edmunds. Wow!
  11. GM did an excellent job with the Enclave. As of late they are hitting on all 8 cyl. Lutz magic is starting to finally show.
  12. I would like to argue this one. My brother has bought a 2005 prius and we have a 2005 Cobalt. He gets 45 mpg, we get 40 mpg. We drive the same way (infact I have more of a lead foot). Sorry, toyota is the king of lies.

"The Camry is for dispassionate auto buyers who just want reliable, economical transportation" I have a problem with this line. The current camry has not proven to be as reliable as even the old Malibu. Time for these writers to get caught up with the times.
  14. The fit and finish is amazing.
  15. I just got done with open heart surgery, so my wife is letting me go to the LA Auto show with a friend as a get well present (assuming the Dr. also lets me go).
  16. I would expect GM to package and price the Camaro near the current Mustang. Remember, volume is also important to GM and building a low volume Camaro would not help them go back to the magic 30%. In the end it's about money. The V-6 Mustang makes Ford ALOT of money.
  17. Great write up. I couldn't stop reading it (carrying my laptop into the kitchen to get a cookie to eat while reading). One can only wonder if the press will take a hold of the new Buick or will continue to rip them apart. Funny how they like to rip on the LeSabre / LaCrosse, yet they have a strong sales base than any similar toyota / lexus / honda product.
  18. Better yet, Bond in a prius. :) I can just see it now, there goes Bond trying to drive away from the bad guys but since the 0-60 is over 10 seconds they catch up to him in their Yugo.
  19. Suzuki seems like the most logical choice here. They aren't going anywhere at the moment, and they don't fit well with the rest of GM.
  20. I think everyone on this website should order cr just to help improve GMs numbers with them.
  21. Just like Japan itself. Hello Kitty wouldn't be a bad thing, especially with the female crowd. Think of it this way. GM has a division that favors mens style (Pontiac), why not one with bright airy sytle for women.
  22. Wilmington would make the most sense. Anyone know what they did with the plant in California?
  23. What better way to get teh buzz started an pre-orders than to bring in the group that is super hot about it. It doesn't really matter what GM does for NAIAS, a new Camaro will be sold out which is just what they need.
