Honda chief rules out V-8 engine, for now
A V-8 product doesn't fit honda's image. I think they're smart to stick where they're at.

2006 Subaru WRX STi
I'm not liking the new Subaru front ends much these days (heck I think their SUV is in the same league of ugliness as an Aztek).

Jeep Compass Photos
So Daimler is hellbent on ruining the Jeep name? I guess they figure since Hummer is taking over the true off-roading why even try.

Hyundai Accent SR Concept
Looks alot like a scion type vehicle.

Do you support Unions?
Teamsters treat my wife well, so I can't complain much.

I Wonder What Happens To GM Employees...
I'm sure there is a GM employee getting a ticket a couple times a week.

First 1k Solstices Produced?
GM is better of being bashed for a slow intro than poor quality. Good job GM about putting quality ahead of $$.

CAW expects to go on strike at DaimlerChrysler
Sounds good to me. At this time I believe the Union is in the right, especially with Daimlerchrysler.

2006 Pontiac Solstice
That is one car that's can't have a bad picture.

should Suzuki make a metro for chevy again
The Metro got the gas mileage that the Aveo is lacking. If they could redo a Metro / Sprint vehicle with updated quality and the gas mileage of the old generation cars I think it could be a big hit.

Which would you rather have?
Who cares if it maxes out at 200 hp, especially with the terribly thin rpm range one would have to deal with to get the power. With most GM products, including the Cobalt, the HP & Torque are achieved via a broad power band. Another words it holds the upper horsepower / torque for a 3000 to 4000 rpm range, instead of a short 500 rpm range.

Math and cars over the years...
This explains the NW well.

New Dacia Logan
Wow that's ugly.

Chevy HHR gets strong launch
If they are selling them for near sticker without rebates in todays market, then they've done well. With the ads just starting I do think it will pick up even in heavy "Asian" markets.

Weird sighting
Part of the fun, probably for the guys at GM too, is keeping us guessing. Why couldn't it have been a Camaro mule?

Aveo Press Release from Frankfurt. Pics too
It's about time GM started using the same radios around the world. The interior is much improved. When will GM start to introduce global platforms at the same time. If Korea gets it next year, why can't the US?

Opel Theta ? Antara GTC !!!! *Merged Topic*
Please, please GM leave the beautiful interior alone. Please go back to being the trend setter.

Proof the new GM has changed
Funny u say that, as I was the one that wanted a more top of the line model for those features, my wife didn't.

C&D: $35K Sports Sedan Comparison Test
I couldn't agree with you more. It stands our more than any other car in it's class.

I now see the point about the STS
I think a V12 product is needed for Cadillac. I also understand GMs stance on the rebuild. I hope GM doesn't build little cheap cars like Mercedes and BMW. That'll only kill the brand in the long run.

My Last Hurrah
I guess you never heard the story of Roach I (back in the days of the 1st generation of Cheers & Gears). To shorten it, I didn't want it, my wife did. We got a Caprice years ago because she kept banging up my Alero. It lasted 390,000 very beaten on miles at which point in time I forced her into getting rid of it. We bought her a 1999 Intrigue that she never liked so we sold it to a friend and bought Roach II. That was ok until we bought our house - a 50+ mile round trip for her to work and back. At $600 a month in gas the big ugly car had to go. She doesn't want to get rid of it until someone is willing to overpay for it, but is willing to make the Cobalt her daily driver. For the record, I've never "wanted" Roach II or Roach I in the first place. I had always hoped she would get more of a liking for minivan or something more parental like.

hey
I noticed my post count from yesterday to today is the same.

My Last Hurrah
185,000 miles 1st owner Portland Police 2nd owner Yamhill County Police 3rd owner us All records kept with county & city prior to us We've done oil changes & a/c - as typical B-body that's it LT1 My right foot can't be light on that car. I would be scared of hurting it by being to gentle. They're not made for it. I'm the one that wants to dump it, not here. I've never been a fan of the useless gas hogging style of the B-body sedan.

Zeta Returns as RWD Option for GM
If they forgot Buick then they aren't on track 100%.
