  1. I think that's the point of Saturn getting Opel products, as Opel & Vauxhall are one in the same.
  2. Who cares about the details of the bags, they should advertise it like everyone else does. Why not sell the car instead of the fire sale.

Please oh, please a Roadmaster just for the fun of the name.

I think this is interesting as it shows how GM is changing for the better.
  5. This has got to be one of the hotest small cars of our time. It's to bad they don't bring it here in full form.
  6. True, in the case of Oldsmbile they changed the symbol and got rid of the name. I did notice that Chevrolet's name is not on the back of the HHR, just a really big emblem. Maybe this is better, as it makes the emblem a part of the overall design, whereas a name is something people like to take off.

So we know there will be a Camaro like vehicle, but will they give us a Caprice wagon?
  8. Who cares, it's funny. It is too bad the news media didn't do more with this one. With Katrina after effects, things like this just aren't covered right now.
  9. XUT would be too heavy, but a great idea.
  10. I hope Saturn doesn't make the same mistake Oldsmobile did. Once they introduce something worth buying again (Aurora & Intrigue), they took the name away thereby making people not realize who built it in the first place.
  11. Just in time to introduce a Camaro at this years auto show. I wonder if they'll do a Caprice wagon. ^_^

Funny you mention, as I was wondering that not to long ago. I guess if they leave it the same they don't have to spend money on it.
  13. Sad to say, the interior needed updating the day the truck was introduced.
  14. So will GM replace the name in the states as well?
  15. I have no doubt Lutz and the rest of the design & engineering team at GM couldn't agree with you more.

That looks nice. One wonders if GM will ever get back into wagons.
  17. Who says GM can't match it with the Cobalt? The chassis is much more capable than I think many of you are giving it credit for. Given the right tunning and play time by GM engineers, I do think they could out do both the Subaru and Mitsu, the would just have to give it some rally-racing time to prove it to the rest of the world. With Chevy going world wide I think it would be a very smart decision.
  18. Please, oh please Saturn just take the Astra like it is and dump that crappy Ion.
  19. 2005 Cobalt with 5 speed manual So the other day my wife was driving along, shut the car off while rolling then put it into gear letting the car start while rolling. Once the car restarted the check engine light came on, and the fuel gauge said it was empty. The next day when we restarted the car the fuel guage was working, but the check engine light is still on. Any thoughts?
  20. Now, now the sienna is the perfect family race car. You know with it's model year 2004 300 hp rating, uh I mean model year 2006 125 hp rating. :D
  21. Now that is funny. One wonders why GM actually stopped. They had no reason to.
  22. I couldn't agree more 4gm.
  23. For those that say GM is not changing. The Cavalier is and has been at the bottom since it was introduced. The Cobalt however is the top rated small car in crash saftey. IIHS crash saftey ratings The more modern products / platforms, continue to rate near the top.
