  1. The Fusion has the exterior excitement of a camry. Anotherwords, none.
  2. The same except I would change from Impala to Caprice, as the current Impala in front-wheel drive form seems to be very popular.
  3. A baby Duramax in a Cobalt would be sweet.
  4. Back in 1991 I convinced my Grandfather to trade in his 1985 honda accord for a new 1991 Buick Regal. From then on every time Grandpa Ferguson and I had a conversation we talked about the latest Buicks. My last conversation with him was about him waiting until later this summer to purchase a new Lucerne, as I had talked him out of the LaCrosse. At that point in his life he was already diagnosed with terminal cancer and knew he would pass away within 6 months but he still wanted a new one.
  5. Any one know why the Silverado does so bad in Canada?
  6. The press can't hide GMs great quality rankings, and it will be impossible to convince people that vehicles like the new GMT-900s, HHR (though they tried), Solstice, etc. are bad, so now it's time for them to start conceeding. Lutz has and is doing a great job. Finally we are seeing his changes.
  7. It's such a relief to see Saturn finally get something worth looking at.
  8. I for one, think it's great that the brass at GM are starting feel strong about the quality and their new products. They deserve it.
  9. I for one am excited that GM is trying something to improve their relations with their suppliers. Hopefully this will only help improve their quality rankings.
  10. Going diesel would also help GMs overall EPA ratings, and improve their public image in the eyes of the environment 1st crowd.
  11. Even CR rates the Colorado with the highest quality ranking (they just don't like the way it drives and looks because it's a GM product).
  12. You dumping your best gas mieage car when gas is hovering $3 per gallon? We stopped using our B-body for this reason. I'm guessing you don't drive much?
  13. Dreaming a small rwd option from GM, Kappa or not, is something I'll hold onto atleast for a while.

It just dawned on me while reading the front page again. The Cobalt plant is at full capacity. My local dealer has very few if any 06s. The magazines seem to be ignoring the fact that the Cobalt is a hit. With only a $500 rebate to boot.
  15. Assuming that the Sky, Chevrolet and Opel versions take on 40,000 more units per month, and GM would add a sedan & coupe versions for both Opel & Pontiac, I could see the capacity going way beyond Willmingtons capacity.

I like the feel of the "fake" junk over the sticky velour.

I would go with the G6 4-cyl then the Cobalt. My wife and I would have preferred the G6 4-cyl., they just were not available and we needed a new car.

Give GM a chance to show what they spent the 3 bil on before condeming them for killing a great car line. The Lucerene is definitley a step in the right direction for Buick, and I think with a little more time we will see the others that those above have written about.
  19. With better gas mileage and a stunning interior, those that have bought the old one, will buy the new ones in droves.

I do wish they would have done a little more with the interior. Maybe something more show car like.

That's BEAUTIFUL!! That could take me away from my Cobalt, especially if they offer a diesel engine.
  22. Great price with alot of equipment. I think they'll see alot of them go out the door from current LeSabre owners, and conquest owners. The car is stunning and the price is right. You might not like it Mule Bakersdozen LS, but overall the press does.
  23. I thought the goal was to do enough with Kappa to have the plant at full capacity which would put it in the same ball park as any other GM plant.
  24. When my wife and I where first married and where traveling around the US we used our Volvo 765 frequently. It worked perfectly both in the front seat and with the rear seats folded down.
  25. I converted to a GM fan shortly before they decided to kill Oldsmobile. Prior to that I was, and to the most part still am, a fan of Pre-Ford Volvos. The 240s, 740s, 122, 1800s, etc are great cars. Oldsmobile caught my attention in the late 90s with the Intrigue and Silhoutte (great vehicle that wasn't kept competitive).
