I hope GMRULES again

This is the biggest drop they've had in a while so I guess they had to come up with a better excuse than the strike in South Korea that they were using for the last few months, or maybe Enterprise has enough Sonatas to last a few years.

The Corolla numbers always include the Matrix so its probably not out selling the Accord. I don't know why they never list the Matrix on its own. Wonder how long it will be until Toyota passes GM in the U.S. never mind globally.

Looks like a big Vibe especially from the back. Also looks a lot like a Kia or Hyundai.

I like the Malibu wheels better than the Sebring wheels the other models have.

I love this show too. I got into it big time a few years ago when Dejaview started showing it every night. My brother had a 76 Firebird that was the same colour. I saw an episode where he gets tdropped off in front of an Olds dealer and you see all the new cars on the lot.

That was a good read. Maybe they have decided that a van based on the Lambda platform is still possible but it will not warrant its own assembly plant (Spring hill).

Pontiac Pheonix

Try telling Dodge, Honda and Toyota this is an unprofitable segment. The segment is still almost 1 million units and even if it dropped off to 800-900K a year GM should have 20% of that. GM has never had a competitive van since the original Caravan was released in 1984. Just design a competitive product and sell a Chevy version only. I know why your so pissed CARBIZ cause I know these vans do very well for GM in Canada because they sell on price, they probably don't make much money on them but they do bring in customers.They sell around 50k of these vans in Canada a year and GM Canada's total sales for a year are around 400k so these vans account for about 14% of their sales. If there is nothing to replace them 50K sales just went out the window because canadian buyers will definately not be buying crossovers that start at 33K, that's a long way from $19,995. DCX can schedule some overtime next year in Windsor.

With GM's tight resources these days I don't think we'll ever see Chevy/Pontiac etc having thier own brand specific interiors but rather platform interiors like the GMT-900's have and now this new Malibu follows along the lines of the Aura so the next G6 update will probably be pretty close to this. Who would get into a G6 and bitch that this isn't a Pontiac interior? The only words that come to mind when I think of a Pontiac interior are the words ebony, black, plastic and fisher price.

Its been about 40 yrs. If Chevy wouldn't mind helping Pontiac out I'm sure no one would complain.

It looks very nice. Not in love with that color combination but the overall design is excellent. The G6 needs this interior asap.

Like others, I have brochures, magazines, posters, emblems etc. Some of it is in my garage now but most of it is in boxes in storage. I have some really nice model trucks, one says GM Flint Manufacturing plant and another says Chevrolet makes sense for America on it. I will try to post some pics.

We do not need another Epica. It was ridiculous to have that and the Malibu on sale side by side. Plus if the new Malibu is going to be as good as they say it is why bring in another model that it will compete with.

I need more info. Is this vehicle going to be priced higher or lower than the Equinox in Canada? I think something less expensive with a manual would help them to compete with Hyundai and Kia who are selling a lot of Tuscon's and Sportage's in Canada.
