Should everyone viewing C&G register?
If everyone had to register that would be a good way to get the membership numbers up. There are only 2500 members, not very many.

The Smoking Crowd - at work or school
Your right that most of the smokers tend to be the slackers. I work with a lazy ass who goes for a smoke about 6 times a day and each time he's gone for 15 minutes. At my company they have a smoking room that's kind of outside and everytime I go by there's always the same bunch of slack asses there. But the good news is my company just announced last week that as of Nov. 1st the smoke room will close and there will be no smoking any where on company property, not in your car and not on the sidewalk in front of the company. This is in accordance with new government laws that come into effect Nov. 1st in Quebec and Ontario. I can't wait to see what they're all going to do.

Chrysler Cutting Production by 135K
71% of thier sales are light trucks so they are going to take a hit. I think Chrysler has been getting a free ride for the past couple of years because of the 300, they face the same problem as GM and Ford, too many trucks and not enough competitive cars.

New VUE Pics!
What are you guys bitching about? The Outlook is big for people who want big, this is smaller for people who want something smaller, more fuel efficient.

Pontiac Wave sedan
Its the dealers not the law. Pontiac dealers in Canada need all the help they can get.

Tiger to help roll out Enclave
If the promotions start Nov. 28th why will it not be available until summer 07? That seems way too far off.

Toyota Tundra
I find the dash odd from these photos, it doesn't really flow from side to side. Its like there's one design for the driver and the passenger side gets nothing.

Alberta, Canada
True, Toronto is a lot hotter and humid (Bad) in the summer and gets less snow in winter. Actually its snowing today not far from Calgary and its only Sept. 15th. Supposed to get 20 CM.

Alberta, Canada
I've been reading nothing but great things about Alberta in the last few years. Wages are very good and there have been reports of people making $12-$13 an hour in service jobs because there is a shortage of workers. There was even a story this summer of a KFC that had to close because they couldn't find any workers. So yes it probably would be a better place for a student to find work. My cousin just moved to Edmonton from Montreal and he admits that he is finding it tough to adjust. I know your not too fond of GM so you might what to consider that before moving to Alberta. That's the first thing he said to me after being there for a few months was how many GM and Ford trucks there are and how few econobox Hyundai/kia/Echos there are compared to Montreal. He said I would love it out there.

GM Canada Warranty Question
Be careful and do all of your homework before buying. I now that some companies will not honor the warranty if the vehicle was originally sold in another country but I'm not sure if GM is one of them. Service is one thing but on a warranty repair as soon as they type in the VIN they know everything about the vehicle and there are differences with emissions etc. For example last year I had a problem with my Cavalier that turned out to be the Body Control Module and the service manager was explaining to me that when the mechanic had my car plugged into the computer he was getting all kinds of wacky readings because the car was equipped with a BCM for a U.S. car. My car was bought new from this same dealership so I guess it left the factory like this. From that day on I had lights on the dash such as the little orange light that tells you when to shift that I never had before.
