I hope GMRULES again

My brother bought a new Pontiac in January 1984 and the temperature outside was about 20 below when he left the dealer with about a gallon of gas and didn't the car brake down on the way home. Had it towed back and they said the fuel line froze. I have bought 4 new vehicles and all of them have been on empty when I picked them up. I traded in my S10 and it had 1/2 a tank so I asked the dealer to give me a gas coupon for 20 bucks to put in the Cavalier since it was on empty.

I am one of those people who would prefer to pass on the ABS, I don't want no ABS light on the dash years down the road that costs a fortune to fix.

I checked out one at a dealer in upstate New York when I was camping the weekend of July 15th-16th. It was that new dark red colour for 07, a very nice colour.

I don't think there is any GM plants in Traverse city, the reason the press release about the Camaro was titled Traverse city was because GM made the official announcement at an auto industry conference in that was held Traverse city. I think its a tradition that the conference is held there every year and has been for decades. That's my 2 cents.

That whole area is a wasteland. The only building still occupied in the area is the GM Hamtramck that makes the Lucerne and DTS. It is a very depressing area.

Right on. We know they can nail the 400HP V-8 version but they will have to have an excellent base or mid level model that can get 30MPG to be able to market this car effectively. I've already saw one TV report today and heard a radio show today about the Camaro announcement and people were asking why GM is bringing out a 400HP car when gas is at $3.50 a gallon. Unfortunately for GM this annoucement comes at a bad time.

Cool. I will be arriving in Windsor at supper time on the Friday, I guess its worth it to check out Woodward on the Friday night also? My brother just picked up a 67 Galaxie 4 door and he wants to bring it on this road trip. Its a nice clean car but nothing special.

Depends on where you live. My dealer had 3 07's yesterday but this market is big on econoboxes so I'm glad they are getting them this early.

That's retarded that the 4 door Aveo will be restyled and the 5 door won't. I don't think I've ever heard of the same model of car side by side on the showroom floor and one model has a new interior and one has a crappy old interior???? Seen a few 07 yesterday at my dealer. Malibu in a nice new blue, Cobalt and Impala in a new red. No cosmetic changes at all to tell them apart from 06. Impala 3.5 stays at 211HP while G6 goes to 224, dam I hate when they do that.

I wasn't complaining only about July, YTD things are not that great with their launch vehicles. For 06 the Cobalt trails the Cavalier/Cobalt in 05, the G6 trails the G6/Grand Am in 05 and the Lucerne trails the Lesabre. Only the Impala has improved by 30k.

Yes Kenzie is fair and even pro GM often. I think CARBIZs point is that a letter that is as stupid as this would get printed in the first place. It gives the impression that an Impala could not keep up with a Corolla. Maybe the Corolla driver was flooring it through the mountains while the Impala driver didn't know how to drive and was only booting it when he was half way up the hills so he thought couldn't keep up with a Corolla.
