I've been thinkikng about it, but if I did, then the exhuast would have nowhere to really route without some modifications. In stock form, my Impala's exhaust actually routes down the "transmission tunnel".
  2. well burning a batch of moonshine is the way I've always tested the quality of the stuff I'm getting. Then again, the person I've gotten from's family has been distilling shine for the past 200 years.....I'd say they've got the recipie and quality controls pretty well down.

Its like I said before, if I could find a way to twist the 3.8L V6 in my Impala longitudinally and stuff a V8 in there after that, I would in an instant.
  4. those will probably look nice on there Josh, but still, I say if you aren't happy witht he stock wheels on there, get another style of stock-sized wheel, there's no point in ruining the ride and handling characteristics of your vehicle, no matter how old or new it is, just to look "cool".

    I don't either!
  6. yeah, a straight salary for sales people would be nice, but then you'd have all the older sales people bitching because their paycheck just got slashed all for "making it fair"

so, seeing those two posts like that in order just tickled your every fancy, eh?
  8. That's what made me glad I went to an SEC school. University of Alabama might not be known for its engineering department, but its still a good school and the female contigent damn sure isn't lacking. I enjoyed my years there although I didn't complete a degree program in engineering.

    You are horrible.
  10. Yeah, someone ripped it out of one, decided to wrap it in a prettier box and sell it wat Kohls.
  11. Yeah, unless he's someone who has a reason to really have a gun, and given his overall look, he didn't I'd say this was set up.
  12. It probably could have, Chinese population control, give everyone this car, let them wreck them.
  13. I have to agree with you on that one def. People who build and buy and test and write about cars all day long don't understand trucks all that well. They expect a truck to ride, go 0-60, and turn a 1/4-mile just as fast as a car when that's just not going to happe unless we're strapping jet engines to it.
  14. *drools heavily* I still want one......build it NOW, not tomorrow, not soon, but now, put it on the market yesterday and watch them fly.
  15. All right, I vote for ejection seats, how about y'all?
  16. I also find it hard to swallow that Saturn is taking the place of Olds in the "core" of GM. I don't mind having the Buick and Pontiac scaled back a little because right now they don't really have a "center" Buick is getting there with cars that are a step below Caddy in not only price, but also creature comforts, but right now Poncho has no "soul" anymore. They're getting there with the Solstice, but there's a lot more work that needs to be done of the "Performance Brand".
  17. All I know is that whomever did that is going to be very quickly replacing brake pads, rotors, calipers, steering and suspension parts very soon. That's the downside of big wheels and tires, they're extremely heavy and if you don't upgrade the things that support those wheels and tires, then you end up wearing them out at an exaggerated rate. Oh well, to each their own I guess, but I agree, whomever decided to come up with a wheel design that WASN'T built for 4-wheel drive vehicles, should be drug into the street and shot....repeatedly.

I was going to comment on that one, but I decided to leave it be.
  19. Not many, now if that was a 1985 K5 Blazer on 33" Super Swampers, I wouldn't say fake.
  20. Well, I guess I'm not quite in the same bucket as y'all with a V8-powered car, but with my Impala I normally average about 25 in the city, but if I was able to shoehorn a V8 in there, i'd probably get the same mileage as youse guys.
  21. Ooh, and automobile pissing match. Gotta love those.

Now that I agree with, but without proof, there's no point jumping the gun until something shows up right? That's kinda like getting a cramp in your leg and amputating it because you're afraid that you'll lose the ability to fully control that leg ever again.

I wouldn't mind seeing Pontiac and Buick both getting scaled back some. Chevrolet is the "bread and butter" of GM, so let them have the lion's share of vehicles. Pontiac should focus on high-performance vehicles, both sedans and coupes, with convertible versions if possible. Buick should get upscale cars and SUV's, something to fight off the likes of Infinity and Lexus, whilst leaving Porshe, MB and BMW on Cadillac's plate to eat.
  24. I guess Saturn is taking Olds' place, which I don't see as right, but that's the world we live in.
  25. *loads one shell into .30-06 rifle, aims, fires...loads another shell, aims, fires, repeats this proceedure for 19 more times then comes to attention and salutes as "Taps" is played* Never fun to see a car go, no matter what the circumstances are because there will always be those little things that you'll either miss about it, or will remind you.
