Yes. It's one of those few differences, along with the 'u' in certain words like 'colour'. ...but when you sing the alphabet song as a kid you have to say 'zee' or it just doesn't sound right. Also, 'E-Z' on American packaging confused me as a kid. I remember sitting there thinking, 'what the hell is ee-zed?'

Is Micheal Moore a blowhard? Yes. Is Bill O'Reilly a blowhard? Yes. I agree more with Moore's opinions than O'Reilly's, but that's only slightly less ridiculous than picking Stalin over Hitler. However, America has had far more Hitlers as of late (O'Reilly, Coulter, etc...) so it's nice to see somebody push back.

Here's a little background for you Reg... Because Canada is a collection of some very different provinces which are in different financial situations, there is a transfer program in place in which the 'have' provinces transfer some money to the 'have not' provinces. This has helped the maritime provinces to survive problems with the fishing industry. Ontario has 38.8% of Canada's population and is therefore obviously a very important province. California by contrast has only 11.95% of the US population. Ontario has long been a 'have' province, doling money out to others. Now that massive amounts of oil are flowing out of Alberta and the auto industry in Ontario has already taken a massive hit, Ontario has become a 'have not' province and will soon receive equalization payments. This is not a question of when it will affect Canada. It already has. Oshawa in particular is having a bit of a real estate crash right now due to GM.

It's more than just the drivers though - every time you buy groceries you are indirectly using the roads. Let's not entirely punish the farmer for that.
