Detroit's Best-Selling Car
I believe comparing all platform mates will stack the deck in Toyota's favor. After all, aren't the Highlander, RX, and Sienna also on the same platform as the Camry?

ALMOND JOY HAS NUTS
I will abstain from voting until this option is added.

Detroit's Best-Selling Car
The significant flaw in Flint's analysis: By rough estimate, almost half of those Impala sales are to fleets.

HOW RUDE!
I found out that not all people with handicap placards are physically handicapped...

Some people have messy cars...
True, but don't you risk flooding the engine if the throttle is pushed down while the engine is off? Or is that only for carburated engines?

Some people have messy cars...
Wow. That woman needs to consider dumping the contents of that vehicle out into a dumpster. Honestly, how much of that stuff does she need? Anyway, my gut reaction would be to slam the brakes, followed by yanking the emergency brake, followed by shifting into neutral, in that instinctive order. Once the car is stopped, unjamb pedal. When I had the Achieva, the accelerator got caught under the floor mat one time. That sort of control loss can scare the crap out of someone long enough to get them into an accident.

HOW RUDE!
So after all that, you backed out and left? I know it's a matter if principle, but couldn't you have done that in the first place?

LeSabre& Century
So they can't build it on Zeta?

LeSabre& Century
In response to thread title: In light of what Ford did with the Five Hundred, I wouldn't want to see GM bring back an old model name without the product itself being a major release or redesign. "Five hundred engineering enhancements" is not a major release if the sheetmetal is mostly the same as the predecessor.

Saab's going to replace its engines with red herrings?

I cannot believe this, lmao, i cant stop laughing
The front is well executed, but it needs some headlamps. The rear... Does not work. The passenger compartment does not blend well with these fibreglass add-ons, either. This kit should have been made for the Malibu, or perhaps the Monte Carlo, if it were made for anything at all.

Dodge Demon Roadster Concept
I like it. But then again I also like the Audi TT.

Super-Crumple-Zones!
Go figure... My dad has a 97 Astro, and my mother-in-law has a 97 Venture. I knew about the Venture and the Blazer. I didn't realize the Astro had the same problem. I'm guessing the S-10 also horribly fails the crash test. It's a 2005 model and it says Trans Sport on the side?

General Motors Agrees To Revise Robot Ad To Appease Anti-Suicide Groups
I felt that the overall ad was great but that the suicide portion was over the top. And I don't know anyone who committed suicide, so it's not personal.

Computer names?
My PC is named "pwnz". Mainly, for lack of a better name. To follow the theme, I named my laptop "pwnztop".

GM Daewoo Soars
Hey, Kia, you know what would help? If your cars weren't so damn ugly. I don't get the chance to gloat often.

Last nights First Look
I would imagine that a price tag like that also keeps the attendance down to a comfortable level. That's the only thing that keeps me from suggesting $75 per ticket instead of $200.

General Motors Agrees To Revise Robot Ad To Appease Anti-Suicide Groups
Eh, that's fine. I even felt that the suicide portion was a bit over the top. I think they get the message across just fine without it.

Online Savings Accounts...
6% sounds pretty good. I have the brick and mortar version of an HSBC savings account. I don't think the interest rate is quite that high.

Drugs?
Never used any drugs. In my lifetime I've only been high on cough syrup. And that's because I had a cough. I drink sometimes. But even then I usually don't go past tipsy.

Anna Nicole Smith Dead
We should be getting the autopsy report soon. CNN.com's going to have some sort of live feed of the report.

2008 Saturn Astra
It looks like those rear seats fold down, but I can't be sure.If they do, I think I know what car will replace the Cobalt in 2009.
