New York: Acura ZDX aimed squarely at BMW X6
My God they have some retarded cars nowadays. Either buy a hatch, SUV, wagon, or a coupe. None of this niche bull$h!. There are limits.

New York 2009: The Scion iQ goes Big Wheels!
Agreed. Much more respectable as the Euro Toyota version in competing against Daimler's smart car.

New York: 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee - First Live Shots
This Grand Cherokee is awesome looking! Closest step yet I'd say to an American Land Rover!

Buick's Future May Be Chinese!
Well, if all this comes through, it really seems as though GM won't be much of a concern at all. I hate to say this because it's close minded, and rather foolish sounding, and the U.S. economy would be further hurt, but obviously GM is is more trouble than Chrysler or Ford at the current moment. This shocks me considering I really thought GM was on its way free and clear with products like the Solstice/Sky, Enclave, Aura, and Malibu.

New York: 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Bah! Do not heed the naysayers! This is the best looking, sharpest Grand Cherokee yet. Proof that Chrysler can still deliver on the product even when GM falters. The Terrain is not even close to the capabilities of what this can do, but then again, Jeeps are meant to go off roading, the pussy footing nasty Compass and Patriot not withstanding. Hate to say it, but this is a gorgeous, modern vehicle. It is distinctive, attractive, and far more luxurious than its forebear. THIS is truly a replacement for the second generation, not the odd quad-dipped lamped version currently on sale. Jeep. There's Only One.

REPORT: General Motors in "intense" bankruptcy preparations
This is dreadful news. And in some ways it shocks me that it would have come to this. PS, I like Buick. My favourite GMNA division.

Cobalt Cometh to Cory
Lucky you. You sound better than I do. I hate the way I sound when I talk. What happened to the Jetta III anyway? That's so sad!

A Thought Regarding the 2009 Sebring's Interior
I do agree with that! However, I think I'll just come out and say it, I like the styling of the interior of the Sebring. Not the steering wheel though, it's odd. But not as odd and unpleasant as the exterior.

A Thought Regarding the 2009 Sebring's Interior
It is, but the midline Touring that I sat in I didn't mind.

A Thought Regarding the 2009 Sebring's Interior
Well! That didn't take long at all! I was considering sending a PM to say, hey, those pics are up. Nah, it's not the interior that looks better when you're blind, that'd be the exterior, hehe.

A Thought Regarding the 2009 Sebring's Interior
Alright, they are not mine, but they are from cars for sale, so here are Sebring Limited interior shots in Dark Slate Grey. This interior colour would actually have me overlooking the atrocities of the exterior in consideration of purchasing one (though not soon since I have my VW from hell). Enjoy!

No more BMW V10s or Mercedes V12s
Still surprises me that the haughty (non)gentlemen of Daimler would give this up.

A Thought Regarding the 2009 Sebring's Interior
I know that it's still a hideous car and not up to snuff, but I have to say that I feel its interior looks better in black. Or as Chrysler calls it, Dark Slate Grey. I had an opportunity to sit in a Touring model with this colour interior, and although the plastics are still blah and dreary, they somehow take on a more substantial appearance to me when presented in black. And, the leather on the wheel felt great! When I get an opportunity, I will obtain pictures. I went to autotrader.com (lol) to look at the insides in black because I liked it.

Not recommending GM cars anymore
True that. In one year, my VW Golf V has had (not in order): 1.) Transmission replaced after total failure (and NO RENTAL FOR ME; NOTHING) 2.) Rear sub speaker replaced 3.) Driver's side mirror replaced to fix signal repeater 4.) Has to have steering gear replaced due to graunching sound (waiting on parts). They sent me on my merry way, and when I inquired if it was dangerous, they said, "Well, if you notice anything change, call us right away." Damn right I am not happy with how this car has been and it has nothing to do with whether or not I am an asshole customer or not, it has to do with the fact that the Golf is a $h! poor car.

REPORT: Chrysler 200C heading for production
I don't know if anyone went to NAIAS as I did, but the 200C was smaller than the 300.
-
REPORT: Chrysler 200C heading for production
If the 200C enters production looking close to as is and is rear drive, I would definitely be considering THAT. Perhaps once the market turns around, Chrysler wants to move upmarket?

FIAT Claims to Assume NONE of Chrysler's Debt
FIAT Denies ANY Responsibility of Chrysler's U.S. Government Debt Indeed, FIAT seems to be merely using Chrysler as an easy way into the U.S. and nothing more. I guess it's to be expected.

How to make a Ford Escape disappear
Wow. How sad. And amusing. I would have paid to be there in person to see it and laugh.

U.S. NOT to Get Polo Debuted in Geneva
Well, unfortunately GM hasn't seen a need for a lot of things; ever. I feel that the Polo of Europe would be the perfect size for the U.S., but perhaps an additional reason they see fit to offer the U.S. a bigger, cheaper, no more reliable Polo is because they know it can't actually compete with the Fiesta regardless, Chrysler has nothing like this available, and the Aveo sucks.
-
U.S. NOT to Get Polo Debuted in Geneva
Indeed. Ford doesn't seem to think its Fiesta is "too small".
-
Fiat Bravo
I can't speak for Alfa of course, but considering all of the issues I have encountered in 1 year of new Volkswagen ownership, I can't envision how the hell they became the world's third largest automotive group with ever increasing sales. Based on my experience, I'm shocked VW hasn't faltered more spectacularly on a global scale.

U.S. NOT to Get Polo Debuted in Geneva
Well, sorry guys. Looks like we aren't going to get the real Polo afterall, but an enlarged, fattened "American Market" sort of car instead. No Euro Polo for U.S.
