Detroit 2009: Chrysler 200C Concept
MyerShift replied to Intrepidation's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Hopefully if Chrysler keeps it up, they will have showrooms filled with the most gorgeous of all the Detroit companies. Of course, that goes with me saying I have a hot spot for Chrysler and I know GM has definitely turned things around with their styling as well. For Chrysler, this is definitely a return to bold form.

Drum Rolls - The NA COTY and TOTY are...........
I must say, the Genesis certainly raises brand awareness for Hyundai and I give them a solemn respect for how far they have come. Except for the grille, I like the Genesis.

Detroit 2009: Mercedes-Benz E-Class
MyerShift replied to mustang84's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Oh my! And I was thinking the exterior was awful, this interior just, blows. Cheap. Nasty. Bland. Poorly redone 1980's square elements. Thank God Chrysler is on the rebound styling wise now that they are free. See what Mercedes is doing to themselves?

Subaru Legacy Concept
Yes! I love the current Legacy despite its midcycle update that detracted from its lovely appearance. It's the best looking product in Subaru's portfolio and most "upscale".

Ford @ NAIAS: 2010 Taurus
MyerShift replied to pow's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)I like it overall, but the cutlines and styling details to the rear seems awfully fussy.

The nose looks duller here in this fuzzy image to what we currently have.

2011 Buick Regal a "go" for NA
Indeed. And, excellent news about the new Regal! I sincerely hope, that despite the brand the Insignia will be sold as here, I do hope for the possibility of a manual transmission!

Japan, INC. may be in real trouble...
Well, I'm certainly glad they aren't invincible. I'm not a fan of Japanese automobiles, but I do respect some of the companies such as Honda, Mitsubishi, and Subaru much more than I do the others such as Toyota.

Offered Without Comment
Well, I think a Rampage would be a good idea for Chrysler with the upcoming times and regulations. With the availability of AWD, this would be superior in every way possible to Honda's Ridgeline which actually IS a total abomination.

2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Spied
Fantastic! Now Chrysler can pick up where it was left for dead after all of the Daimler-era cuts. Chrysler's interiors had been steadily improving. Witness the Pacifica and 300 series for that. MotorTrend stated that the Pacifica's interior approached that of VW/Audi products in perceived quality, fit and finish. Just imagine what may lie ahead!

2010 Buick LaCrosse
Gosh DF! I think you're right! It has headlamps, tires, wheels, and windows! And, all four wheels can be powered! Wow! The similarities are incredible. Must be some sort of Chinese copy or something. This sarcasm has been brought to you by: MyerShift. Unambiguously Un-PC. Seriously, I can't wait to see these touring the streets and country sides in quiet, reliable understated style.

2010 Buick LaCrosse
What we need to accept is that even though Buick gets modern, class leading machinery, some will still find it underpar some how.

GM @ NAIAS '09: 2010 Buick Lacrosse
MyerShift replied to Chris_Doane's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Oh, I know the LaCrosse *cough, Invicta, cough* is far better, but I feel with updated powertrains, features, and a rehauled interior, the Lucerne would be a much better top size car but hey, let's move on into the glorious future of Buick!

I can't wait to see it in the metal!

GM @ NAIAS '09: 2010 Buick Lacrosse
MyerShift replied to Chris_Doane's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)I absolutely love it. That low, sensual profile, curvaceous character line running down the body; Goodness! I do believe this to be one of the best looking Buicks of recent times! I also loved the Lucerne when it came out and still like it! -22 year old guy

Lamborghini Estoque official details/images
So, if Chrysler can right itself, maybe they'll make an "affordable", rear-drive and super exciting sedan? While independent, they did do some fantastic things!

2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class unveiled
There's a limit to each. I prefer less going on with the side panels of an exterior. I loved Audi's more restrained previous generation cars, like the first Audi TT or the second generation A4 from 2002 to 2005.

2010 Buick LaCrosse
It's beautiful! I can't wait to own a stylish Buick. Or a Buick again for that matter. I may have only had a Skyhawk, but it was my favourite J-body car and mine had a four on the floor, manual steering and everything else, no clock in the radio, but it had kick ass cool headlamp covers and it was fun to drive. Very real and connected. Especially that unassited steering. Fabulous.
