  1. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/...Id=119058Toyota I can imagine a million + 1 reasons why this could go off accidentally.
  2. Seems the Big 3 are taking an either or attitude, which is understandable considering their finances right now. GM and Ford are jumping on the cross-over wagon early, hoping to make more money on them than they would have mini-vans. DCX on the other hand, is sticking with the mini-van (aka gravy) train, but they have pretty much left the crossover market alone
  3. that sucks. hope he got a lawyer cause GM is gonna try to take him to town for his documented 'abuse' of a malfunctioning car.
  4. I like it all but the rear end from above the tailups up.
  5. Ya they are choosing to continue being fat once they hit adult hood by eating the way they eat. I know, I was one of those fat kids, and even though I knew it was bad (kinda hard not to these days), I continued to choose to eat that way and eventually got up to 350. Then I chose to get my fat ass to the gym and in just over a year I had dropped 100lbs
  6. that sir is stupid comment. while a small percentage of obese people are pretty much screwed into being fat by their genes, 99.9% of obese people are so because they choose not to watch their caloric intake and/or choose not to exercise if their caloric intake is too high. I have no problem with the government raising CAFE, I do think that automakers being able to use fuel economy fleet credits from the past is BS. The slate SHOULD be wiped clean
  7. while I agree that hybrid's helping to cut down on pollution is BS (as pointed out above), they do serve a good purpose in that they help cut down on your dependence on foreign oil
  8. i never liked the idea of BMW having wagons and I don't particularly like the idea of Caddy of wagon's either. Sure they will sell, but I see wagon's as more low-end type vehicles. So adding a wagon to a luxury brand is like adding the non-trail rated to the Jeep lineup.
  9. except for the front fascia, I like it. And seeing as its only a concept, I'm sure it'll be tuned down if it made it to production
  10. thats great! the question is can it hold on to that spot once the newness factor wears off
  11. i loved my old 240 (RIP), and i'd buy another one in a second, as long as it doesn't look like that *barf*
  12. meh. wasn't crazy about the old headlights, but i like this even less. bout time they put the hood scoop on. Its been in the works for 2 MY's now
  13. Blinking LED’s and vibrating seats are supposed to reduce distractions? Maybe eventually, but in the beginning, i find taht hard to believe
  14. If you could relay commands over this system, cops lives would be made easier, and cut down on car chases. On the downside, any hacker should be able to get access and could cause havoc.
  15. i like. the best of the H-I colours they've put on the charger. Nothing beats black with tinted windows though
  16. I would have figured on the Astra being built at L-Town with its Delta brothers
  17. Dragon replied to BrewSwillis's topic in Honda
this is what happens when the irish program robots
  18. and the news gets worse for DCX
  19. great, so thats the 4rd car i can think of with the slanted rear tails (elantra, sonata and IS)
  20. I'd imagine its gotta be a big problem if for this kinda action. Not good
  21. at all their plants? I think this has more to do with their inventory counting issues and clauses in their current contracts
  22. my buddy, a maintenance/production engineer at the Brampton plant has been alternating being off cause the plant is blacked out and working ridiculous amounts of OT. f@#kin retarded.
  23. there is a need for them. the sliding doors can make things a lot eaiser, even for small business who use them for transporting people and boxes I think a year or two "off" would be a good break so they can differentiate old chev minivans that people obviously don't like
  24. as much as I hate badge engineering, seeing as how its a "work" truck, this coulda been a good GMC
