Cadillac News: Cadillac LYRIQ Delivery Grows Closer
Those two are RWD + AWD whereas the XT6 is FWD + AWD. The Lyriq and Aviator look 100X better than the XT6.

For comparison's sake; XT6 starts at $48,595 Aviator starts at $51,780 Yep, that makes more sense to me. It just didn't seem to be larger, let along THAT much larger, than an XT6 to me.

So it's longer than an XT6, overall. Thank you. This is definitely larger than I thought. I was expecting more of an X5, GLE, XT5 or maybe Aviator size but this is definitely larger, or at least longer.

I think these look really good but I'm still not sure about that rear/side 1/4. I bet it looks a lot better in person. The AWD is a no-brainer for the price AND performance you get, unless it happens to cut the range by 25%, which I don't see happening. Seems expensive but that's just because I don't have 70k to drop on a vehicle but it seems like it's competitively priced and specs-wise, should do very well. Cadillac's problem is they'll probably have some dumb@ss commercials for it. GM marketing tends to be of the worst, IMO. Are their specs on the size of this? What's a comparably sized ICE vehicle that I can compare this to size-wise?

I didn't catch any of the game but it always hurts to lose a game 7...

Exactly what I was getting at. hAnEn'T hEaRd tHaT oNe bEfOrE If there is, I'm sure he's pushing his limit...Hahaha Red Hat, you say? I think I know somebody who's been wearing a red hat for a couple days now.. they should probably take it off and put a cool blue one one! Like a STL Blues hat. But in all seriousness, that sounds like a great joint venture for GM.

Yup, I'm in the same boat. I would have liked to see it below $20 to buy-in. I'll just continue to keep an eye on it though. I'm sure it'll drop below there at some point.

Don't worry, it'll keep coming up! Well, there are four of us who care. The person making the absurd claim, the two who don't believe him, and the third who feels like they need to defend somebody. You also keep forgetting that I clearly stated that he wouldn't fit in a Macan. Baited and YOU bit. David's skin is way too thick to care what I think about him fitting in anything. Oh it's definitely been longer than two years, pal. The Bolt came out in 2017 MY and I'm sure David sat in one very early.

Because he's full of sh!t, and I'm not the only one who's noticed, when it comes to this "fitting comfortably in a Bolt" situation. Lincoln Continental is too small, Mazda CX9 is too small, but a Bolt is roomy?!? " Is it such a big damn deal that you have to constantly troll him over it?" No different than you getting on SMK for anything German, just say'n. But yes, anytime he says something is way too small and claims to be comfortable in a Bolt when his picture appears to have had him shoehorned into the back, is worthy of some crap. Maybe this is your first week here and have never read David talk about where seating comfort is important to him.

What in the fck is your issue? I already stated he wouldn't fit in a Macan AND that I was talking about the rear, because that's always what his issue is. THANK YOU! There is a zero percent chance somebody who is 6' 6" can fit comfortably behind the driver's seat which is set for a 6' 6" driver in a Chevy Bolt.

Down another 10% thus far today! $20.30 as of this writing. I'd like to get it on it shortly. I actually wanted IPO prices but since this tumble, I'm keeping an eye out for it and going to read up on where it "should" bottom out around. I have faith in the company and it would definitely be a long-term play because I don't see them getting out of this production hole anytime soon.

What else was there to cover? It drove extremely stiff and harsh.

Rivian's stock has gotten beat to sh!t since it's IPO. It's IPO price was $78/share, it spiked up to $179/share in the first week and has since fallen extremely hard, down to ~$21/share as of right now and still falling.

"Around the C/D handling loop, the SS proved flat, stable, able. All the stock TrailBlazer's squirming body motions have been erased, ditto the squirmy steering. And when we asked for straight ahead-another talent the standard TrailBlazer lacks-we got it. The downside is just what you'd expect. A very firm ride. The suspension doesn't transmit small displacement jitters, but if the front wheels catch a frost heave at the same moment, prepare to be snapped to attention. The condition of your local roads may well determine whether you can live with an SS." https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a18202350/chevrolet-trailblazer-ss-mini-test-road-test/

Vaccine discussion
Almost nobody around here is acting like we're still in a pandemic. Everything is open, no masks being mandated anywhere, and they finally stopped us from having to wear them on the bus a few weeks ago. It's open season in the Mid West! lol

COVID is still a thing? I thought we were finally passed all of that. It's not an election year, right?
