  1. I understand what you're saying but is it all that different with car shopping? Call 5 different dealers and get 5 different prices? Go to 5 different stores and a pound of chicken breast is 5 different prices...and I'd wager it's all coming from the same or maybe only two different sources. I understand the haggling aspect you're talking about and I understand what you mean.
  2. I would only ever want a battery storage if I had solar panels to truly take advantage of storing electricity.
  3. Not all consumer products have fixed pricing. Walk into a store then go online to Amazon. You'll find varying prices for the same item. Home appliances have random/holiday sales and 0% financing throughout the year as well. Cell phones are the same exact way. The more I think about it, the more I think prices vary more often than you'll find the same exact thing for the same exact price everywhere.
  4. Oh I don't think it's a tech thing. I don't know anybody who looks forward to dealing with those people. Funny enough, the price haggling is probably the only part of the transaction that I don't hate. Them trying to upsell me on every little thing and then proceeding to try and convince me I need all of those upcharges, is what drives me the most nuts.
  5. I can't imagine missing dealing with a salesperson.
  6. I think this one is a decent step in a positive direction though. It doesn't have the typical FWD shape to it, stubby and very sloppy hood, like my MKC. Maybe something is just playing tricks on my eyes though, lol.
  7. Oh yeah, that's 100% what it felt like driving the two of them and why I assumed the GLB had more interior space. I do have to ask then, why'd you rate it(GLB) lower on your interior roominess list than the GLC?
  8. I looked at this awhile ago and GLB and GLC are nearly IDENTICAL in exterior dimensions and, if I remember correctly, the GLB had more interior space. We had a loaner GLB then a loaner GLC so I got curious. I was thinking X3 and GLC were the comparable ones as well. Ohhh okay, that makes sense then. Thanks!
  9. This is GLC-sized? If so, it's not nearly as small as I would have thought. We've had a loaner GLC and I really liked it. It certainly wasn't big but I didn't think it was necessarily too small either. Has the X1 grown from the original generation(I'd assume so - everything has)? GLC-sized just seems quite a big larger than what I'm picturing for the original X1, which seemed about Ford Focus-sized with a 0.5 inch lift kit. And thanks, I assumed it was still FWD-based but the low, flat hood does a good job of hiding it, in my opinion.
  10. You may have called it, but you need to pay closer attention to the details, cap.
  11. True, but, I never said "I'm done." Also, I was only talking to myself. ...And get called a dickhead for talking to myself...
  12. Well, in all fairness, I accurately called it.
  13. Well, to be honest, it looks pretty sharp for a really small SUV. I assume it is FWD-based but I may have missed it. If so, I think the relatively flat hood makes those FWD proportions look surprisingly great. I like it but nearly 40k for something this size seems insane to me.
  14. Dear Myself, You have a serious issue...with being correct Sincerely, Myself
  15. It's disappointing, but I understand why. It's certainly a looker.
  16. You're not done. You're never done. Yes, and yours is still rated the same as mine, higher than most cars.
  17. Well, they both have the same rollover rating per the NHTSA, 4/5 stars.
  18. Well, it's taller, 65" vs 68", than an Escape/MKC. I'm also not worried about mine but I've been told I should be.
  19. Unfortunately, GM has already said this won't go into production but some of the key elements will be utilized in future SUVs. "The low fastback coupe won't go into production, but some of its cool design elements will be seen as soon as 2025 on EV and gas Buicks. However, they'll all be SUVs."
  20. Do go on and show me the education that you have on the topic, because you've shown so much thus far. Yet again, I've never disputed the fact SUVs have a higher risk of rolling over.
