Buy me a truck!
Agreed. But you could use any of the engines...whether it is a 4.3, 4.8, or the 5.3... Can it just be a work truck, or do you need power locks/windows and stuff?

PONTIAC WILL GET ENTRY LEVEL COUPE
IT has a lot to do with it. They can and will make money this this "rebadge" whether you like it or not. Granted it will be different, just not like we hoped... Don't forget BV, that this is a fill in, unless it becomes a big hit or something.. You can't expect GM to spend a buttload of money on a car that may only be around 2-4 years ( or less). I heard that they plan to toy with it a bit, so something cool could come out of it...

PONTIAC WILL GET ENTRY LEVEL COUPE
Yeah, what he said. You guys do want GM to make money, right?

PONTIAC WILL GET ENTRY LEVEL COUPE
For now, it will work. I knew the Montana was on it last leg, as is the Relay. In Saturn's case, nobody will care. Pontiac does need something- a quick model fix. Come on Josh, you know you need a winter beater for your car.... Yes, it is the pontiac Prusuit. And there is a good chance it will called that too. Though we in the US will get some more goodies though... Unless it is a breakthough in sales, it should only be around until the next cobalt refresh... And for those who don't think we/Pontiac don't need it, then you need to take a look at gas prices... There may not have been a need for a sunfire then-but there is a need for a gas saving coupe now... And Pontiac needs the sales, like it or not.

Could this mean something as well?
No, the Vans are really dead...replaced by "wagons", if you will. Chances are good that the Astra would be built at Lordstown.....

First Drive: 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line Hybrid
Agreed.

First Drive: 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line Hybrid
I think it will do well..as long as they don't forget to market it. (don't laugh-it happens) Someone in my family is already eye-balling it, and the reaction I'm getting so far is very good. I've seen a tester roaming aroud here....as I'm sure they are looking to improve it some more.... I plan to drive one as they get to the dealerships.... Overall, for the price..

The New Tundra
Hmmm...getting market share back? Could be very true...I like that point... Yeah, that's what I hoping too..you would think it would have been first... I'm hoping for some good surprises....

How much can you take?
Nope...long wait...food tasted strange...nothing to yell about though...

From the back, it looks good. The front, well...

The New Tundra
You make some good points my friend...But things are different now. The new Silverado will be much better. That I know. But the Tundra will still steal sales...if in the fact it is nothing more than the tundra just being different... And the truck market is changing, right before your eyes. Loyalties are not as important as they used to be. That, gas prices, along with other issues are making things much different than just a few years ago. You bring up the Titan...but it was way too hyped...even though it wasn't a bad truck. Nissian was very unprepared..they did their own thing, and well, you see where that went. Before you say the Tundra is not much better, you may want to drive it first. That's how I plan to decide. Well, almost anyways/ You know what they say about looks.... *me running from tundra* THough I would still like to drive it first..to see how it stacks up.......

The New Tundra
I wouldn't waste your time. They would kill you. No joke. that would be like J-body or Neon owners bashing Hondas on their website...

Car shoping
That's what I'm thinking too... The new Ions are growing on me... I was thinking of buying a used Ion coupe to replace my wagon.....

Chicago: Jeep 65th Anniversary Edition Lineup
The Wrangler really does look good in that color...

Chicago: 2007 Toyota Tundra
I understand where you are coming from, but you only need to look at motor trend's truck of the year to see where things are headed... THe Tundra is not going to be an overnight thing. And there was another big reason why the Titan flopped-lack of choice-which is very important thing to truck people. The Tundra does offer choice. THink about it. What are they going to market? MPGs? Choice? Does everything your F-150 does? You bet. And loyalty in truckland is slowly chipping away...and as they do....

Chicago: 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
I don't know why, but I like it.
-
Chicago: 2007 Hyundai Entourage
Agreed. It don't understand why they have two vans in a dying market... Even GM finally knows better...
-
Chicago: 2007 Hyundai Accent 3-Door
I kinda like it. It reminds me of an late 90s/early 00s Civic hatch... I would consider a base one, custom it up a bit, and make a nice commuter car out of it... Still gotta see it in person though...
-
Chicago: 2007 Toyota Tundra
I'm sure if you see enough, it will grow on you. You have to admit, whether you like it or not, it is different.
-
Chicago: 2007 Toyota Tundra
Agreed. Someone could really cozy up in there. THe Tundra does look nice, but is not as inviting... I think if you are going to spend some time in there, GM may be the way to go...

Chicago: 2007 Toyota Tundra
I sure that it won't either. BUT, it is going to really start eating at those sales...
