  1. I recommend you put your money where your mouth is-I will. I guess you forgot that image and marketing sells cars to the masses nowadays.. Something that Toyota is very good at. It will at least match the Silverado-it doesn't even have to beat it. This truck will not beat the door down right away....ir will be a slow but deadly strike to kill... You would have to be blind not to see that it will sell...... Maybe not in crazy numbers...but just eating away...... Had a problem with you silverado? Ram? Where do you think these people are going to go?
  2. Maybe not so much about Bush, Sci, as some of them just take a look around their own areas... Times are not good. And they are not going to get better soon either... And of course blame is going to be everywhere....

    I would try an 00 or a 01..if you can..there are a truckload out there... I spotted an 00 with 89k for 3300...

Very true. I am considering one after the wagon goes... A few of my friends have them- one has a 93 Sc1 with well over 250k on it...and still going...

:rotflmao: Wow, that was pretty good...I just about choked on my Pepsi.....

    Happy B-day Josh!

Aren't we a little too worried about this? These trucks are not even out yet-makes them hard to compare...... Yes, the Tundra will sell, but how much has yet to be decided... ...it depends on what it can do. I think the new Silverado will make it to the party just fine , regardless of looks...... Toyota have new engines? The Silverado has given you choice for years.. Point is, you all need to relax.....
  8. That's what I'm hoping...
  9. I would have to agree with a good bit of that... I'm just glad I missed that TRL thing by a year...OOhh..those Backstreet boys... Explianing my music is tough, beacause I have always listened to just about everything.... Though "Ride the Train"-Quad City DJs brings back good times.... or "Baby I love your way"-Big mountain...
  10. Talk about a one track mind.... But I see you have ideas...and there is nothing wrong with that... B)
  11. Well, not quite peanuts.... The EGR part I need runs between 150-200 bucks... The hoses shouldn't be too bad though... But short of the starter (which is getting old-same one for 13 years), there are quite a few new parts on the car, as I have been trying to fix the bad idle on it...
  12. Reading that gives me hope that my wagon could get there... Good thing about the 3.1s is that they seem to run forever.... I'm wondering if I should invest a few more bucks into the cav to keep it a while longer myself. At 130k, it burns a bit of oil (never more than a 1/4 of a quart), and idles bad, bad runs pretty good above and beyond that. I wondering myself if I should invest the money for a new EGR, brake pads, and a new hose or two(small leak on hose toward the rad), or just pick up something new... Mute, I would hold out a while. I think the cars may just get cheaper if things get rough this summer....
  13. I wanna race a Cobalt...
  14. I think we are just so used to seeing them.... What will we do when they are gone... :(
  15. Nah, I think it is just the pic... Looks pretty good. I think they were testing a few of those around here...
  16. True, BUT GM needs to worry less about fashion and style, and more about the product......now.
  17. Enough said. The bottom line is the only thing that matters.....
  18. It's funny you say that. A co-worker has a Breeze that he beats the piss out of it. Right now, it's gone about 5k without an oil change (*shakes head*). But it keeps runninng quite well, though I donn't know why.... When we had our 95 Neon -toward the end of it (before we traded it in) we beat the daylights out of that Neon. And it still kept going... I'd given up on saving the car after all the issues it had.....
  19. There used to be one around me..but someone rear ended it. Heck, I haven't seen a Vega in a while either...
  20. Pretty cool! You would think your car would be long gone by now.... You just never know....
  21. Ann Arbor isn't that great now...the houses being built in the in the surrouding areas like Ypsi Twp and Dexter are not much to brag about at all..if it wasn't for U Of M, Ann Arbor would be in a sad state of affairs too.... Looks "old"? "Tired" ? Dated? That's what happens when your state can no longer make the money it used too... And things will just get worse if things don't change in the future... Save Detroit? Heck, it might as well be save Michigan....
  22. Sad, but becoming true.... :(
  23. But, How many do you see still driving around? They just don't die....
