Pontiac G5 Info
Oh man... I love the photochopped iPod, too. But what I really do love is the faux-carbon fiber trim that appears to be molded differently from the faux-aluminum in the Cobalt. At least they changed something other than the grille!

Recalls: Jeep Grand Cherokee, Toyota FJ Cruiser
Edmunds is running far behind on recall news.

Hot Sellers
I think the Solstice and Sky are pulling customers into showrooms and getting them into other vehicles, too. The 300 effect.

New Tag Line
I think it's in the new Motor Trend. I saw it, thought about it and came to a conclusion: great advertising.

Today's No-Effin Way Award goes to...
I really could care less if Lance Bass is gay or not. He's with the Amazing Race star who won his season and shouldn't have, IMO. At least they both have some money. I wonder if he could pass his gayness on to someone who, um, I wouldn't mind having it.

2007 Mitsubishi Outlander
First, the third row is for little kids and is there to compete with the RAV4, etc. Second, the headrests can be stowed away. Third, Mitsubishi said the headrests are designed like that for Euro (figures) crash standards. Just to get that out there. Edit: The interior is sparse, to say the least. I was kind of hoping for a more unique design but if Mitsu put more focus on quality and materials, that's fine with me. I like the exterior.

New Tag Line
Those look like photos from AE or J.Crew or something, not a car company. I hope they are not print ads because they do not even show good car shots. I do like how the tag line is written, however. I love the Jaguar campaign but it can be a little confusing at times.

Spied: 2008 Nissan Armada
The updated interior looks good but not as awesome as the GMT900 SUVs. The silver painted plastic is not that great so I hope some good looking wood/plood is available.

New GM ad campaign?
LOL. Advertising you have XX plants in the U.S. is crap when, in reality, you are closing plants and laying off/buying out workers in order to remain competitive in a cut throat industry. It's not worth having so many plants when you are over capacity. A better campaign, IMO, would be a "GM is turning around," "We're listening to our customers," "Come and see how we have changed" type of thing. Get people really interested in your product and the new GM.

Come out of the closet...
Prep. J.Crew, A&F, Hollister Co., AE. Love J.Crew. Edit: Since I would rather not spend tons on my clothes, I turn to eBay for help. Sell my own stuff to get some dough and buy some stuff when I don't have a lot. You should try it.

Short term (test drive): Mazda5
I have seen a few in my area (Philly) and I think they look pretty cool, too. If I was just starting a family they would be at the top of my test drive list.

Spied: 2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R
The first thing that came to my mind was Saturn but not because of the greenhouse similarities. Those rims look mighty similar to ones Saturn had/has. I do not think this will attract a tuner/performance sport compact crowd because the overall exterior design is too upscale. I think it will look nice but not as a sporty compact.

GM reports strong quarterly operating profits
Operating profit is what is left after expenses relating to the function of the company are taken out. For example, the cost of running factories. Net proft is what is left after taxes and special 1-time expenses. Even so, GM had a pretty good quarter. Day traders are going crazy on the stock.

Would you buy GM stock?
I have been thinking about this recently because I am in the process of setting up an investment account and I believe GM is a good future investment. Its products are on the way up and its stars are beginning to align again. However, I found some interesting things that have turned me off. If you purchased GM stock decades ago it would still virtually be worth the same now. In other words, you barely made any money. Supporting the company is great and all but when you are in the game to make money it is a different story. Edit: I'm talking about long-term stock investments, not day trading. You may make money off GM stock in the short-term but what I mentioned above regards the long-term, what I am mainly interested in (less tax, less volitile, more earnings potential).

C&G Moments in Time
I think I peed my pants on this one. Such a shame I had not found C&G back then.
