  1. The 3 is indeed a hell of a car.... Chris
  2. they actually might sell a lot of them in a hurry. Chris
  3. Say what you will, but Toyota/Scion are moving these things. Hate it all you want but there is a waiting list around here to get the new xB. Chris
  4. Saw a Wild looking restored Volkswagen Kharman Ghia in Coral Pink. Does that count? Chris
  5. Nor can our local dealer keep the Prius in stock. Chris
  6. I hate to admit it but your right, damned right. Chris
  7. Let's not insult the Koreans. Chris
  8. Actually I am suprised Mazda scores so low. What is more telling is to go drive cars that are 5 years old/100,000 miles. G.M. products hold up better than a lot of other cars. Chris
  9. Perhaps someone hadn't come off a bunch of mushrooms.... Chris
  10. I am so happy for you. You are going to LOVE that car. Cars of that Era rode so Damned well. Good Luck! Chris
  11. This is to the original xB what the MustangII was to the original Mustang. I own an xB (first gen) and don't like the second gen. At all. Chris
  12. Depends on what you want. Going back to the Impala thing...GM has more dealers nationwide IIRC than anyone. I am planning on travelling a lot with my next car. Should the damned thing decide to break down in Sundance, Wyoming I'm much more likely to be able to get a Chevy fixed than something else. There are reasons of all sorts for still buying the Impala. Or the Civic. Chris
  13. My guess-1958 Ford Fairlane Retractable. Am I close? Chris
  14. At least it's faster than a Corolla. Chris
  15. With the value Rat Rodders are putting on "Patina" I hope Fly gave you at least ten grand for that thing. Amazing what a mere 50 years in the salt belt will do to a car. Chris
  16. Import Humper... Buys American! One of the guys I work with was telling us Friday how he was going to go out and buy a car. Told the guys on the crew that a Honda was not good enough for him and only an Acura would do. Kevin Laughed in my face when I told him he might consider domestic cars. Told me I was nuts for even thinking it. So this morning in the parking lot before work, we are all shooting the bull and drinking coffe and...Kevin rolls up in a metallic red Mustang GT convertible. Says he loves it and thanks me for suggesting American products. He told me it was really obvious American products had improved dramatically. Too bad the Camaro and Challenger were not in production yet...would have been cool for him to have had some more choices. Not that I think the Mustang was a bad choice by any means. He should be really happy with the car. (And yes I got to ride in it.) Chris
  17. Lately I've seen a bunch of older (past 50) guys driving really riced Honda's. I have no idea why. Chris
  18. Do you guys have a link to BON? Chris
  19. ...Ford looks like it will be the real looser here. G.M. seems to be doing well around here, but the midwest has always been more of a domestic stronghold. Chris
  20. The Mini is a cool little car and I'd like to own one...however they seem to suffer from the same reliability problems that VW/Benz/BMW/Audi are having. Chris
  21. ...lookslike we are off to a good start... Chris
  22. Tell her! Even if she laughs in your face it is better than being 70 years old and wanting to know..."now what would have happened if..' Also, if she does say no you will be more emotionally ready to look for another relationship. Chris
