Random Blabber
I go to dad's every year. This was the first year for their new kitchen. My grandfather looked great. He'll be 89 years old at the end of this month. We had: turkey (!) stuffing gravy mashed taters peas broccoli corn pudding creamed corn cranberry sauce sweet taters rolls I had a glass of skim milk and 3 glasses of Yellowtail Merlot. Then we had pumpkin pie and orange cremesicle cake for dessert. Then we watched "O Brother Where Art Thou". It was a nice day. I went over to my dad's in my nice reliable Chevy truck. :AH-HA_wink:

Don't you just love it when you had plans
Decka, I'd go by myself. Why deprive yourself of fun just because someone wants to be a stick in the mud?

Why Modern Country Music Sucks
My mama's prison bus stalled on the tracks and a train hit it. My dog ran away with my best friend and my wife so I got drunk and woke up next to some ugly chick. Take this job and shove it. Why ain't the bars open on Thanksgiving so I can drown my troubles in some Jack and drive my pickup truck into a tree and end up getting a ride home from some honkytonk chick in a '74 Cadillac. I could move to Nashville. :AH-HA_wink:

Should Pontiac make a 4-cylinder G6 Coupe?
How about the Cobalt SS motor? Actually, the 2.4L might work if offered with manual transmission, which should be available on the 4 cyl sedan as well.

Honda Recalls 90k; Suzuki 325k
Now really, siegen. Could it be that quality control is identical here as abroad? Could it be that quality problems are handled differently here? As in, quietly?

Honda Recalls 90k; Suzuki 325k
Well, I'm just not going to be an auto enthusiast at all if god almighty Honda has a recall! Is nothing sacred?

Proof that Hondas are crapboxes
Take that, Honda! I guess we can see where Jay's loyalties lie. Between this and his toybox/garage, I think we can safely say he's a GM guy. :)

On this day...
Happy 21st Birthday, Flybrian! It seems a cosmic coincidence that today is also Thanksgiving... maybe you should lay low for a while. So, are you really going to get basted today?

DANGER!
Well, it's been nice knowin' y'all. As I speak, there is a gang of hot young dudes with tall black hats, white shirts, brown vests, goofy short pants with tall white socks, and pointy black shoes with huge buckles breaking down my front door with axes. One of them is holding a big ol' bag of bread crumbs. FAREWELL, C&G! :( Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! :)

Camaro concept coming to Detroit!
This is gonna be one wild ride, and I'm not talking about the car! :AH-HA_wink:

DANGER!
If any turkeys are reading this, PLEASE, run for your lives! You are in very grave danger! I am serious! You could have your head cut off, your feathers plucked, and you could suffer the discomfort of having a huge amount of bread crumbs stuffed up your butt! RUN! NOW! SAVE YOURSELVES! :o :)

Mixed drinks
I don't know about you guys, but if I go to a restaurant that has a self-serve soda fountain, I always like to mix a couple of different flavors... for something "different". Right now I really like Diet Coke mixed with orange drink. Does anyone else like to experiment with soda flavors? :)

Retro Vinyl
Well, for one, a much better chance of matching if something happens and parts of the car have to be painted.

Analysts Say GM Needs Product Appeal
I'll be happy to see RWD make a big return at GM. It's one of their strengths. They never should have let it go. GM's product decline started with the '80 X cars, imo, and they're only recently coming up with truly appealing mainstream FWD cars (with a few exceptions, "Aurora" being one).

Natural Attraction
Someone who is confident but not full of themselves, someone who is toned and fit but not a gross muscleman, someone who is honest and true, someone who likes cars and the outdoors, someone who is fun, with a sense of humor, someone with a job, a house and a vehicle of their own, someone who isn't afraid to get dirty, and I have to admit, someone who I find physically attractive.

Why Modern Country Music Sucks
Agreed, z, I'd have to have some sort of breakdown too before I'd buy any new country. "Seven Year Ache" by Rosanne Cash is one of my alltime favourite songs, and I like "Seminole Wind" by... was it John Anderson? And who doesn't love Tammy Wynette's "Stand By Your Man" or "D-I-V-O-R-C-E"? Or George Jones' "He Stopped Loving Her Today"? Then of course there's Glen Campbell's "Wichita Lineman" and Tanya Tucker's "Delta Dawn"... oh and I think Dolly Parton sang "Jolene", another classic. Then you've got Patsy Cline's "Crazy"... wow, all good stuff.

Christmas Party Caption Fun
(Kid in dark jacket thinking to himself) "Ok Opie, I'll show you what happens when you try to feed your weenie to my date. How about 7-up YOURS!" :AH-HA_wink:

BRX Sketch
Yeah, it has like a SAAB-y upright windshield rake. And it looks softer than what we've seen from Art & Science, even softer than STS.

Happy B-Day
Toni Toni Toni... Happy Boithday. :)

Retro Vinyl
I'd actually like to see a few more "straight" colors, meaning, non-metallic, return to availability. The "Burnt Orange" on a '72 Monte Carlo looked good.

The Toaster Turns 100 Years Old
I have some really thick socks on this morning, so my feet are nice and... toasty.
