oh, and even though it's largely seen as an unmitigated piece of crap, I love the Merak as well.

I think I prefer the looks of the Biturbo to the Q-porte. But the Ghibli... sexy beast.

Bubble/teardrop, micro/mini, weird-one-offs
I really like that 2CV. it needs a brushed metallic paintjob, and it'll look like those futuristic tin toys from the 50's and 60's. Because spacecar!

Ooooh yes, those are awesome. even when they had Honda-sourced 4-cylinders, they were fast enough to melt Jeremy Clarkson's face. Now they have variants with supercharged V8's.

A Trip to The Phantom Planet: 1983 Pontiac GTO
+1 on that. The scooping is hideous. but the whole car needs some aesthetic help. Nose especially.

A Trip to The Phantom Planet: 1983 Pontiac GTO
this has actually been done to some extent: http://rides.hotrod.com/ride/1065174/stoopud/1983/pontiac/gto/photos/default.html however, I like your customization idea better than what they did. Anyway, keep looking. I'm sure SOMEBODY has to have a repro nose or a spare or something. If not, I say get some fiberglass and some molding compound and wing it.

Hey, it's a lucky triple date (11/11/'11), so that's a good sign! Good luck again!

Hmmm... Caprice Classic Monte Carlo, 1970-1988 (sad that I have to specify that) d'oh...lol! I can take or leave the rest.

Oh, I thought you were just fond of it. In my case, its my favorite, except perhaps the 928. The 928 was always kind of a un-Porsche. No problem, I can stick with the unlovable A, X and J bodies sticker and spoiler "sports cars". i figured it meant the same thing. well, no as far as favorites go, I'll still have to go with the Carrera GT...no, GT2 RS...no, GT3 RS 4.0....Cayman R...Boxster Spyder...dammit.

I just stated that I liked the Panamera.- Giving Thanks For Car Spots
- Idiotic driving mistakes you have made in the last couple of years...
tried to take a cloverleaf a little too fast in the Cobalt. Embarrassing spin, but luckily nobody was behind me, and I didn't hit anything. And then one day back in probably '07 or '08 I hydroplaned around* a corner in a rain storm and curbed it bretty bad. had to have the whole right front suspension replaced, but of course the insurance company was going to nickle and dime me on parts that "needed to be replaced" but were really just fine. I did NOT need a new door panel, front fender or windshield, thank you Progressive. frikkin' a-holes. (*term used loosely)- Cars you like but no one else here likes;
I also never liked Porsches until the 996's came out. Then I started taking better notice of them, but over the years, I've grown fond of them, even the Panamera, much to my surprise. But I absolutely love the 997 GT2's, GT3's and Turbos. I also like the Boxster and Cayman, but I think the Cayman deserves more oomph. It's a mid-engined car, so just imagine the GT2's motor in it. YOWZA. unfortunately, the only thing standing in the way of the Cayman reaching its full potential is...the 911.- Cars you like but no one else here likes;
I've always liked the Infiniti G35/G37's, namely the coupes (because of course i have a soft spot for Nissan Skylines), but the sedans don't bother me; they're just not as good looking. I've always loved the '90's-era Thunderbirds. they were probably the closest thing there was to a true musclecar back then (being that they were midsize RWD coupes) When I was a kid, my best friend's brother bought a brand new '94 or '95 Ford Probe GT. We thought that thing was the $h! back then, and even today I can't bring myself to dislike them, even now knowing that they were FWD and meant to kill off the Mustang. Classic Japanese sports cars like the '69-'72 "hakosuka" GTR's, Datsun 240/260Z's, Mazda RX-3's, first-gen Celica GT's, including the Mk I Supra, oh, and of course the 2000GT. E30 M3's BMW 850CSi Subaru SVX's had a quirky appeal. They don't look like much in the way of a true sports car, then you find out they have 230hp and AWD (remember, this was 1995 or so). Subaru BRAT (namely one I saw online once with an STi motor swap) Subaru WRX STi's and Mitsubishi Evos. Namely GD-3's and VIII's, respectively. Nissan 240SX (S14A's preferably). Ferrari 308 GTS, 288 GTO Any generation RX7 Latter-day Pontiac Fiero. Ditch the Iron Puke, swap in a GNX motor.- Cooking with Croc
