  1. I also see some "ford" in the styling, but oh well... I know somebody mentioned that front and middle leg room stayed the same, but it does look like the rear wheel wells aren't intruding into the doors as much as the previous gen. So, that's a plus.

 I'll have to post some pics of it next week... this should be a fun trip...
  3. Based on your comments, and some others... it sounds like it would be worth going to the 2006 NAIAS. But, I gotta know for sure, since i'm coming from So Cal... will I get my money's worth if I take a trip to Detroit?

I'm going to Lake Havasu this weekend, with the gf and her family... ... you are probably thinking "so what," and wondering why I would bother mentioning it... Well, they just bought a boat... the fastest boat I will probably ever ride in... It has a twin whipple charged 542 (I think that's the correct displacement), making 1300 hp! This thing is estimated to go 120 mph on the water! I just hope I don't piss my pants. I have never seen two superchargers, side by side, on one intake manifold... it's sweet!
  6. I love those moments! I recently had a "Camaro pride" moment... right after I took some friends, visiting from Mexico City, for a ride around the block.
  7. I voted for the Tahoe, because... there's no way they could have screwed up the Escalade, but the Tahoe will show just how good they were able to make the 900's and everything else will be better, so we just have to wait to see how the rest look.
  8. Awesome... it's like x-mas before the 25th of Dec! Except like one of those x-mas's where you asked for a Camaro, but got a brand new Tahoe instead...
  9. already posted under Chevy Trucks (click here)
  10. So... it looks like everyone has trickled back to the site... but, What about Bob? Trinicariabob that is... is he on vacation? name change? just curious... Besides him, are there any other Unexcused absences that i've missed?
  11. There does exist a thread which discussed the debut of some of the GMT 900's at the Texas State Fair... I just don't know which thread  EDIT: found the thread click here
  12. I saw one on the road today... it's not as bad, but it is still no looker.

but higher RPM's also means more moving mass = higher inertia => friction does not play as big a role. BTW, friction only depends on how tight the fit is between the piston and the cylinder, not how fast the piston is travelling. Also... this tidbit of info comes to mind... the Ferrari F40 (I believe) has almost 0 emissions at 4,000 rpm.
  14. Those gauges are sweet! Futuristic, yet sort of retro at the same time.
  15. What about the 5.7L pushrods? Are those not noteworthy? I mean... it is only the 350 (and 346 B) ) we're talking about... BTW, I think you might have pissed off 68 and some other people with your general disregard for pushrods.
  16. i'm in So Cal... but who's Phil Hendrie. I'm also stuck on Stern, ever since I moved to SD a couple years ago.
  17. I hate being PC, but I know when to turn it on and off. Off, to piss off my PC sisters or if I'm with some of my friends, and On any other time.

I caught an 06 Malibu on campus... it looks good!
  19. So, are the toned down wheel flairs an Aura thing too? I really hope not, since they give the Aura so much more character and presence as compared to the Astra.

very cool mini-SUV, I just don't like the name. Yeti makes you think it might be an Excursion sized monster, not this thing. But I just don't like that they named the concept after a large, furry beast. BTW... any more pics from the show... like, with models? :P
  21. so, this only means we won't be getting our RWD vehicles from down under, not that we won't get any at all... right?!?
  22. I've decided that... if Chevy doesn't bring back the Camaro, then I will replace it with the following...an HHR, because they are freekin coolan Aveo, for the fuel economya Cobalt SS, because something has to feel fast compared to the other twoa Z06... hehe, don't I wish!
