5th Gen Will be at NAIAS 2006
I'm fine with that... So, all that worrying about the Camaro stealing sales from the Kappa twins is now a moot point.

Honda FCX Concept
Wow... I thought Cab-forward designs were gone with the wind! So, is this supposed to hint at the next Accord?

2006 Monte Carlo
There was a rumor floating around that the delay in MC deliveries had something to do with NASCAR... But anyway, I checked the GM online vehicle locator a couple days ago, and the car did show up at a couple dealerships.

5th Gen Will be at NAIAS 2006
Good point... i'm looking at it from more of a "help the Solstice and Sky move into the future" thing... BTW... I'm not happy with the news that evok PM-ed you with.

5th Gen Will be at NAIAS 2006
Ahhh, I never said put the Camaro on Kappa. I was suggesting that a new platform could be used for a Camaro, and it would then help the Solstice and Sky move off an "unprofitable" Kappa.

Saturn’s Revolution
Are you saying that the shouldn't "Americanize" it much? If so, then I agree. Let Saturn me totally different from anything else GM has to offer.

5th Gen Will be at NAIAS 2006
Maybe a Camaro would bring along a platform that would be profitable for itself, the Solstice and the Sky. The Firebird and Camaro coexisted for over 30 years, and they were the same thing but with different style. So why not a Camaro and a Solstice, which are totally different? Did Mazda ever think twice when they started selling the RX-8 along with the Miata? Granted they aren't as close in price, and the RX-8 doesn't have a drop-top. But you can still argue that for about the same amount of money, the RX-8 gives you a hell of a lot more. And, there are other makes (not companies) that offer small two-seat convertibles, along with larger 2+2 coupes... Anyway... none of the insiders have bluntly stated that "The Camaro will not be shown at NAIAS." (please let my post not be the reason to do so) They have stated that there would be no concepts. Was the Aura a concept? Was the Ridgeline a concept? So, they have left the door open for near-production models... I'm looking at this as a Camaro enthusiast, who knows when to be realistic. If I wasn't blind to the chance that there might not be a Camaro shown, then I would have booked a flight and hotel for NAIAS a long time ago. And at the same time, I feel like it would be a bummer if I didn't go to NAIAS and missed a Camaro showing. Also, I don't appreciate those of you who don't care for the Camaro, but spend all your time making a mockery of these types of threads.

Saw the SKY
At first I thought... "damn USC and their special treatment," but then it occured to me... That's the perfect croud to get drooling over a new Saturn. Now they just need a few soon-to-be grads to pick one up, put an SC alumni plate on it, and show the car off to the rest of LA. :) Soon after, we'll be seeing everyone rolling in Saturns, instead of Bimmers and Benzes (well... maybe that's a bit of a stretch)

Choppin' Competition 8 - GMC Yukon
I think what looks odd about the front end is that the rest of the chop is of better resolution then the headlights and bumper insert. but otherwise, it's awesome.

5th Gen Will be at NAIAS 2006
except that this type of rumor has the potential of costing me a plane ticket and hotel to get to the NAIAS!

Cool, we've been expecting this... now I want to see spy pics of the hardtop that the insiders have hinted at for a while.

Cadillac Prepares Limited Production STS-V And XLR
I see tons of American cars... unfortunatley there are a little more foreign cars. But, the vast majority of SUV's are GM or Ford makes.

Cadillac Prepares Limited Production STS-V And XLR
You are right... I see so many SL's, CLK's, S's (and those other ones) that I am tired of Mercedes. I actually DO NOT care for them anymore. I never cared for the 6 series in the first place. On the other hand, it is always exciting to see an XLR (of which I have seen a hanfull in So Cal). I always notice the signature Caddy headlights and DRL's first, but then I realize it's not another CTS or STS, and my heart skips a beat! So... exclusivity isn't such a bad thing after all...

Just sharing...
Trust me, the car is named "Chevy"
