Same here, no sun-roof... T-tops or whatever the Vette has (entire roof section is removable). Then again, if the next get Camaro is no longer a hatch-back/fast-back, then I don't think either would look good.
  3. That sounds like a good commercial. I haven't seen it, but I have seen one for the new Vue. That (the Vue) looks much better than the original pics we saw a while back (it also looks much better in person), and the interior is awesome!
  4. Cool car, nice and clean. My first Camaro driving experience was with a white 96 Z28 4A that my dad leased. I had lots of fun with that car, and allthough the LT1 doesn't match the LS1's performance, it made the sweetest music out of the tailpipes. I also know how hard it is to keep a black car looking good, the car that replaced the 96 Z was exactly your Camaro but a 98 (also a 2 yr lease).

During my trip to Havasu I saw countless GM and Ford pick-ups and SUV's, but i'm most happy in reporting that I saw ZERO ridgelines. To continue ripping on the ridgeline... I have seen the same handfull of ridgelines for sale at a honda dealership for almost 2 months now! :D

ocn: funny you mention that... we took some video with a digital camera, nothing special, but it has an awesome soundtrack! z28: the weather was perfect, max 104 during the day and in the 80's at night.

None of them look all that special, but I was really diggin' the V8-RWD conversions! I especially liked how they put 4th gen Camaro parts into them. ^_^

I'm back! First of all, a correction. The engine is a 572! Second, some more specs... The 572 produces the 1300 hp with some help from the two Whipple chargers. Those Whipple chargers are each fed by a Holley 1050! The speedo on the boat only reads to 100 mph, but we think we hit at least 110 mph a couple of times! The boat is INSANE. It starts off all motor, then you hear the twin Whipple chargers boost up, make the most amazing whine, and the boat just flies! :D Anyway, i'll have to wait for the gf to give me some pics off her camera before I post any.
  9. ... a Pontiac! duh!

hmm... I hate that kind of art, which means I'de like it less in the trunk of a car. Unless the car is an import, in which it's ok! hehe

Did anyone catch the episode of Rides where the HHR gets customized by different teams? No?... well, here's some info with pics. HHR by Year One HHR by Unique Performance HHR by Darkside HHR by P Teaser My favorites: RWD V8 HHR's done by Year One and Unique Performance (I was just thinking that a RWD HHR would kick ass) Maybe somebody can post some of the pics into this thread, I know how much it sucks to open a thread and get no eye candy. Thanks. Thanks to HHR Club for posting the info, which I couldn't find anywhere else. Not that I tried that hard.

good point about it looking busy when the GM badge is near other badges, but I would haver prefered if they put it lower on the body, in front of the rear wheel wells (like on the Corvette)

yeah... it's on the border of So Cal and Arizona. I'll definitely get pics of the boat and the engine, but no promises about scenery (its tough taking pictures when your on a boat, especially a fast one)
  15. AWESOME! oh yeah... and thanks for following up on that detail, after I left you all hanging :)

One thing they preach to engineers is... "don't ever expect the efficiency of any mechanical system to be in the 80-90%," let alone be nearly ideal. I'm not knocking the process, it sounds like an excellent idea. But, time will tell how the theory translates into real world applications.

like a Scholarship, but more of a job
  18. don't want to burst your bubble or spread false info, but I'm not sure if the powered fold and tumble feature is for the 2nd or 3rd row. Somebody might want to dig around for that info in the 2007 Tahoe press release info

Awesome news, I can't wait for the GMT 900's to hit showroom floors! on a side note, Will the LAIAS be held in Nov and Jan this year? Cuz then we might get the debut of the Escalade!
  20. I think GM can get away with a tight 3rd row in the Tahoe, because if it really bugs somebody that much they should buy a Suburban instead. BTW, I read in the "locked" posts by Josh that they are power fold and flip!
