Chevy HHR gets strong launch
This is great news, especially since most people don't even know about the car yet.

Jeep Compass Photos
WTF? It's all riced out. Worst. Jeep. Ever.

Civic "Real Life" Photo Gallery
The sedan looks really good/almost great. It'll will do very well for Honda, noticably better than the last Civic. The interior is ridiculous but most people will overlook that because it's a Honda. Sad but true. I read the 140 hp version gets 30/40 mpg. Compare that with Cobalt's 140 hp version gets 25/35 mpg. The Cobalt really needs an low end Ecotec engine with VVT. It also needs a price drop. Pronto.

HHR on pace for 100k sales
A lot of people on this forum, including myself, have talked to Chevy salespeople here in the States who say they can't can't keep the HHR in stock. They're sold almost as soon as dealers get them.

Opel Theta ? Antara GTC !!!! *Merged Topic*
I was really complaining about the SX3 not making it to the States as the Vue. I take it all back. The Antara rocks.

Opel Theta ? Antara GTC !!!! *Merged Topic*
Ah-Ha, were all, or at least most, of GM's future lineup as good as this? If so, wow, just wow.

Opel Theta ? Antara GTC !!!! *Merged Topic*
I thought the T2X was a little goofy but showed a lot of promise. The Antara fulfills that promise and then some. Great job.

Opel Theta ? Antara GTC !!!! *Merged Topic*
Holy...! That thing is wicked. That should be a 2 door and a 4 door. It's a shame we have to wait a few more years for it to be the VUE (according to Ah-Ha).

2006 Cadillac SRX
The center console looks like a computer tower shoved into the dashboard. It would be nice if GM restyled the BLS interior for the SRX.

2007 Saturn Sky
I like the Sky so much better than the Solstice. It looks more expensive than the Solstice so I don't think the higher pricetag will be much of an issue. The sales will be there.

HHR Commercial....
I was at a Chevy dealer and the salesperson said the HHR's are gone as soon as they get them.

Ha ha. I love it. Pretty clever on GM's part.

"We Never Meant To Embarrass Toyota" GM Says
Is this true? It sounds like something from The Onion. If it is true, I have to say, it's gorilla marketing at it's finest.

Ecotecs 2.2 and 2.4 have the same gas mileage?!
On the Cobalt both engines get 25/35 with the manual transmission and 24/32 with the automatic. I know it's because the 2.4 has VVT. Is GM working on putting VVT on the 2.2? Or maybe even making a slightly smaller Ecotec with VVT? It doesn't make a lot of sense to have a the 2.2 get the same mpg as the 2.4. I'd be pretty impressed if GM had an engine which could get something in the high 20's in city driving and high 30's for freeway driving, which is something that a 2.2 with VVT could probably accomplish.

2006 Mercedes-Benz R500
The rear end looks very awkward. Everything else looks great. I think it will do well.

2007 Dodge Nitro
I love the Nitro concept. It should be brought to market completely intact.

Do any of you insiders know what new vehicles, if any, are planned for Pontiac?

'06 Impala Fit-and-Finish
One was parked near my work the other day, and it looked really good. The only problem is the front end. It's too bland. Other than that, it's a handsome, if conservative, car.

Edmunds First Drive: 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara
I think it'll be a hit for Suzuki, too. And I love that interior. It looks great. GM should just copy it and put it into a few of their vehicles.
