The Aura needs better wheels and piano black
Autoblog posted their own pictures, mostly interior shots, of the Aura on their site. They took pictures of an Aura interior not seen in GM's own photos and, IMO, it looks a lot better than the interior we've all already seen. It's a 2 tone interior with wood trim. I'm not of fan of GM's interior grey, but with another color to offset it, it looks fine. And for some reason, I don't find the wood trim overwhelming like I did before. Overall, the interior is not class leading but it's competive with it's segement. I hated the Aura's interior after seeing GM's press photos, but now find it perfectly fine and somewhat attractive. I still want to see what the aluminum trim interior looks like. http://www.autoblog.com/2006/04/13/new-yor...a-in-the-metal/

2007 PREVUE CONCEPT
Is a 2 door version of the next VUE being planned? If not, we're all going to be disappointed when we see a 4 door VUE with way less sex appeal. There were some links to spy photos of the next gen VUE and Opel version of the VUE posted here.. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...topic=6749&st=0 They show a different C piller than the Antara/Prevue and a lack indentation...i don't know what they're called...on the doors. It still looks fairly attractive from what you can see but it's not anywhere near the Prevue/Antara.

NYIAS: Pontiac G6 GXP Coupe Show Car
The spoiler and the grill both need to be smaller. The hood vents have to go too. Other than that I actually really like this. And I'm someone who hates the awkward blandmobile that is the regular G6 coupe. Too bad the concept still has the same horrible interior as the regular G6.

New York: 2007 Suzuki XL7
I like it a lot. It stands out without being over-the-top. That interior is better than what's in most GM vehicles. Kudos to Suzuki. Looks like GM should have held onto it's shares of the company a little longer. GM should have a contractual clause with it's partners that says GM has a right to rebadge any vehicle for one of it's own brands that it's partner is developing. This XL7 came a little too late to be an Equinox but it would have been a pretty good Torrent. I know the image doesn't exactly fit but it would be a lot better than what Pontiac currently has.

New Outlook/Aura Interior Pictures
The Outlook's interior looks great. First rate. The Aura's interior has too much wood trim. I'd like to see the the piano black finish from Sky's center console in place of the wood on the Aura's dash and an aluminum trim covering for the radio and a/c controls. Then more aluminum trim around the shifter where there is currently wood.

Lutz Says GM Is Over the Worst
Lutz also insisted that the HHR would be a huge hit before it went on sale. I predict GM roughly breaks even by the 3rd quarter of this year.

New York: Scion FUSE Concept
We're in complete agreement. I think it looks great and with a few mods should be a Pontiac.

07 Maxima
You don't really get a good idea of what the exterior looks like because the angles the pictures were taken from are so extreme. Really like the interior though. The Aura's really pales in comparison.

SATURN AURA RADIATES STYLE, REFINEMENT
The center stack looks too one dimensional, like there should be something that the center controls should be mounted onto but it's not there. Thank God that wood trim is optional. It's too much I hate it.

SATURN AURA RADIATES STYLE, REFINEMENT
WTF?! It looks like an elephant crapped in the interior. The brown leather and faux wood together is overill. Actually all that faux wood alone is too much.

The new Saturns are coming
Hmm, the Outlook isn't the homerun I was hoping for. The front end looks awesome. The interior is great. The fender flares and rear lights are cool. But the doors look generic GM/Ford to me. Still, it's a lot more styling than most SUV's. I think it'll do pretty well.

The 2007 Saturn Aura
What?!! Where'd you get that? I thought pics weren't supposed to be out yet. Not that I'm complaining. I still want to see more pics from different angles, but I think it looks really good. If GM doesn't overprice it, it'll be a big hit.

Dealers support GM's Wagoner
Didn't a bunch of GM dealers get sneak peaks at some of GM's upcoming product? Maybe they're very enthusiastic about what the future cars being developed under Rick's Regime.

The 2007 Saturn Aura
I think what bothers me the most about the concept's interior is endless sea of grey plastic. It just needs 1 or 2 more colors here and there to bring everything to life. Otherwise, the design and layout of everying seem quite good.

The 2007 Saturn Aura
He won't even address it. That's how. From what I can see, it looks fine but I'll make my final judgement when I see some better pics.

Jeep Compass
That thing is turd on wheels. Sometimes you can look at a car and point out where parts of a design can be fixed. Maybe raise the beltline. Make the grill narrower. Whatever the case may be. But I'd say ever design element on this Compass needs to be scrapped. There's nothing attractive on it to latch onto.

The 2007 Saturn Aura
Hmmm, upon further inspection, it looks like there's a now a line that runs along the top of the fender from the tip of the headlamp to the a-pillar that wasn't there before.

The 2007 Saturn Aura
Did anyone here really think GM would keep the lower front fascia and side moldings for the production model? I know I didn't. Maybe GM will use them for an Aura Redline version. Who knows. I think the lower front is fine. This is supposed to be a mainstream car afterall. The front end from the concept version would be too out there for most customers. Anyway, it looks like the actual sheetmetal is the same and that's the most important thing. And yes, the skinnier chrome bar on the grill is better than this bigger one. I hope GM did some redesigning to the interior. After looking at pictures of it for many months, it really seems subpar compared to the competition. GM could do better.

Holden for sale? per Austrailian wed site.
Meh. The new cars Holden are getting are GM's "world" cars with some Holden badges slapped on them so it's not like Holden is spending money hand over fist on their own product programs. I call speculative BS on the article.
