REPORT: Cadillac pulling out of half of Europe
Having a cheap interior isn't subjective. It's pathetic, especially when GM expects people to pay $47k+ for it in a segment jam packed with higher-quality (and better performing) offerings.

Task force: 5 fatal flaws in GM's viability plan
The above criticisms sound pretty reasonable to me, especially in terms of brands/dealers. I'm not entirely sure what the point of a "cut-down" Pontiac is, other than saving GM the trouble of having to reorganize Buick/Pontiac/GMC dealers. What, exactly, has Pontiac done to prove itself as a viable/relevant brand?

The Next Generation Impala Rumor Wagon Rides Again!
I'm pretty apathetic about GM's future vehicle "plans", as the company has proved time and again that it doesn't really have a plan.

STUDY: More buyers avoiding GM, Chrysler during rescue
IIRC, Hyundai was the only carmaker to post sales gains in January, something like a 15% increase (Haven't checked out February's numbers yet). That doesn't reflect that they're doing something right? Selling cars based on an industry-leading warranty isn't a bad thing, either. And I wouldn't necessarily say their quality lags behind the competition. Most Hyundais match or exceed the comparable model from GM or Chrysler in terms of interior quality nowadays. Oh, and the Genesis and Genesis Coupe are among the most impressive new models from any carmaker right now, let alone Hyundai. I go to school in a pretty affluent area of Connecticut, and on more than one occasion now I've seen a Genesis sedan parked alongside Bimmers/Benzes/Lexuses/etc. in someone's driveway. Seriously.

2010 Chevy Camaro SS vs. 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T vs. 2010 Ford Mustang GT
The Mustang's styling is about a decade behind the Camaro's. The Challenger, more like four or five decades.

2010 Model Year Buick Changes and New Features
Buick isn't going to make a turnaround if it can't develop a car without worrying about stepping on Cadillac's toes. Buick should target a different market than Cadillac, for sure, but that doesn't mean they have to offer less content. Someone in the market for a CTS probably wouldn't cross-shop the Lacrosse anyway, and if they would, they're probably a GM loyalist and would buy GM regardless.

STUDY: More buyers avoiding GM, Chrysler during rescue
It's funny how quickly Hyundai went from being regarded as a joke to being regarded as one of the smarter car companies in the market right now.

REPORT: Chrysler 200C heading for production
I can see the 200C being a huge hit. This is what the Sebring replacement should have been all along; a smaller RWD sedan with classic, yet less polarizing styling than the 300. I'm surprised Chrysler didn't take this direction after the success of the 300. The current Sebring couldn't have been more of a failure, really.

2010 Model Year Buick Changes and New Features
If Buick wants to move upmarket they shouldn't have steel wheels on any trimlevel.

GM to cut prices to lure customers
CTS aside, the only GM brand I'd actually be interested in buying a car from is Saab.

Motor Authority: An Opel Insignia Rebadge For Cadillac?
I wouldn't go that far. The new RX beat the X5 in a comparison test in the latest issue of Motor Trend, along with the ML. Granted, it's Motor Trend, but the RX is at the top of its class in terms of technology. It's also been vastly improved dynamically according to every review I've read.

Give me a f@#king break.

Docherty: Pontiac "Alive and Kicking"
That sentence doesn't even make sense. Did she mean, "The top reason to purchase a Pontiac is fuel economy"...?
-
The Cadillac DTS
I really couldn't disagree more. The fact that Cadillac still produces a car as "90s" as the DTS really damages their image IMO.

Pontiac and the Trailer Trash
The media made Pontiac produce crappy cars?

Yeah, right.

Assuming this isn't total BS, this would be pretty exciting. I'd like to see another company take a shot at Saturn.

GM plans upgrades to Chevy Volt throughout lifecycle
So they're going to update a product rather than let it wither on the vine for 5+ years and become irrelevant? What a concept.

For Sale: One “Slightly Damaged” Challenger SRT8
! That's a pretty big catch. Isn't that going to kill resale value? Who wants a car with 1k miles and no warranty? That's ridiculous.

Hyundai Equus Teaser
Speaking of which, Hyundai sales were up 14 percent in January. While EVERY carmaker (aside from Subaru and Kia) posted double-digit declines, Hyundai posted double-digit gains.
