It Can Be Buick!
The Venza is actually a head turner on the road. I saw a white one with the 20" wheels a few weeks ago and was definitely impressed.

Why doesn't it have a warranty?

So, smoking
YJ, $2.77 for cigarettes? Marlboros run in the $6-$7 range here. In NYC, they're a dollar or two more.

Opel Ampera (Volt) headed for Geneva
Yeah, I just realized that. Even the headlights are the same.

Opel Ampera (Volt) headed for Geneva
Looks uncomfortably close to the Volt. I hope this isn't a different front clip kind of deal, but it looks that way from this picture.

Detroit 2009: Chrysler 200C Concept
Bimmer325 replied to Intrepidation's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Something exactly like this could have been based on the outgoing C-class underpinnings and sold as the Sebring replacement. I see a lot of previous generation Sebring sedan in the rear, except not cheap looking.

Lexus HS250h - World's Dedicated Hybrid
I've already seen three or four 335d's around.

Tomorrow could be dangerous
I was just about to ask...headed to the Detroit riverfront area with that plow? 6-10" forecasted for me.

Offical Photographs of the 2010 Cadillac SRX...
I disagree. There's an element of cheapness in the new SRX's exterior that brings the chintzy BLS to mind. The RX looks more upscale and substantial, IMO. It doesn't reek of the impression that it's based on something cheaper.

RIP G8 ST

gm4life, take a look at your signature and then ask yourself how much weight your argument holds.

Advice on shopping for and test-driving a used pickup
A friend's '02 has had all of these problems, possibly including the tailgate cables as well. Not to mention the interior looks like crap after six years. Personally, I'd stay away, but that's just me. These trucks don't exude quality, that's for sure.

2010 Lexus RX
I didn't realize how cheap the 2010 SRX looks until I saw those pictures.

Take a look at this Camaro
I call BS. It certainly doesn't look like it has just 1,100 miles and has been in storage since 1973.

Wagoner Drives Volt To Washington
GM is scrambling to make business moves they should have been making months and years ago. It's amazing that it took bankruptcy and the prospect of total collapse to get them into action. Rick Wagoner and other execs didn't have the foresight to see this coming before things got this bad? Before it got to the point where they would only have enough cash for a few months? They're reacting now because there's no other option, presenting a hastily prepared plan to stay afloat. I know nobody could have predicted roller coaster gas prices or the fall of the SUV. But members here have for years commented on GM's tendency to react to market trends rather than take a proactive approach. Why weren't "dead weight" brands being slashed or sold off before this?

GM ends Buick sponsorship of Tiger Woods
I can't remember the last time I saw a Buick commercial anyway, other than the ones advertising rebates.

Saab Celebrates 25 years of Convertibles with Special Edition
Invested? GM has consistently done the bare minimum to keep Saab alive. You blame Saab because nobody wanted a rebadged Trailblazer, when in reality, it's GM's mismanagement that's failed the brand.

2010 Ford Fusion
Wow. That looks great to me. I love the new front end. The grille, the angled headlights, the squared off hood. It looks more upscale--from this picture at least--than anything else in its class. I haven't been this impressed with a design from Ford in a long time. The midsection is still bland and the rear isn't as much as an improvement, but overall I'm impressed. Love the 5-spoke wheels. The interior looks dated, but I guess there was only so much they could do there. Definitely an upgrade.

2010 Mazda3
The rear looks good. The front might take some getting used to. Overall, still one of the only exciting small cars.

Saab Celebrates 25 years of Convertibles with Special Edition
Please. Go look at the pathetic G6 update and tell me Saab doesn't deserve to stick around.

Frustrated
The public education system in this country is broken, and this is evidence of that.
